Olandria Carthen Wore Seven Dejana To Golden Eve
Olandria Carthen attended Golden Eve: The Golden Globes honouring Helen Mirren and Sarah Jessica Parker at The Beverly Hilton on Tuesday evening, marking her first red carpet appearance of 2026. And naturally, I’m wondering: should we take this as a sign that she’ll be stepping onto the Golden Globes red carpet on Sunday?

Two things were immediately different. First, the hair. Olandria has entered her new-year, new-hair, blondes-have-more-fun era. Second, and just as notably, the dress. The silhouettes that defined her red carpet appearances throughout 2025 — particularly cleavage-forward gowns — have been replaced with something far more covered and structured.
This Seven Dejana gown introduces a new style direction. The sculpted bodice, densely embroidered with florals and star-like detailing, demanded attention through craftsmanship rather than exposure. Paired with a sheer skirt and a contrasting green drape at the waist, the look offered plenty to take in — and yes, my eyes were working overtime, but Olandria doesn’t appear phased by it.
That said, I do wish the floral bodice had been allowed to fully lead the narrative. Given its construction and detail, a simpler black velvet skirt might have given the top half more room to breathe.
