Greta Lee & Elsa Hosk Wore Ferragamo To The Surf Lodge New Year’s Eve Celebration
For The Surf Lodge New Years Eve celebration in St. Barths, Greta Lee and Elsa Hosk offered two very different reads on Ferragamo. One felt instinctive and assured. The other left me unconvinced.

Greta’s Comfort Zone
Greta Lee has long had a strong relationship with the little black dress, and this Ferragamo Spring 2026 mini plays directly into that narrative. Slinky, with lace detailing and ribbons adding a sense of fluidity, it may not be everyone’s idea of a beachside New Year’s Eve party look, but this is so Greta-coded. Black satin open-toe sandals with sculptural heels and a folded Ferragamo clutch kept things sharp and cohesive. This felt like Greta leaning into what she does best: confident, understated, and fashion-aware, without forcing a moment.

Sheer Expectations
Elsa Hosk’s style choices often excel, especially when she’s pulling from her own Helsa wardrobe, as seen across her highly curated Instagram feed or gliding down the red carpet during the Cannes Film Festival, so expectations are always high. But when it comes to her Ferragamo Fall 2025 dress, while I have no issue with the sheer top half, the gold shearling midsection is where the look lost me. It feels heavy, both visually and conceptually, particularly for St. Barths on a warm, balmy evening. Ferragamo black patent leather peep-toe wedge sandals completed the look. This is one of those moments where the idea feels stronger on the runway than in real life.
