Best Press Tour & Thematic of 2025 – Jenna Ortega

Honestly, I was surprised that Jenna Ortega was voted Best Press Tour of 2025 for Wednesday Season 2.

Judging by the comments throughout the year, I got the distinct sense that many of you were growing tired of the neo-goth, Death Becomes Her energy, the Nevermore Academy references, and even the lack of eyebrows, which sparked its own discourse.

Personally, I loved this press tour. Jenna stayed firmly on theme without defaulting to all-black looks or relying on heavy, smudged eye makeup as shorthand. There was a clear thought process behind every appearance. This was visual storytelling in motion — the kind where you don’t want the tale to end. Each look felt like a new chapter: darker, sharper, occasionally romantic, and always considered, showing growth rather than repetition.

Her Ashi Studio Couture reptilian look was my favourite — unapologetically strange and perfectly pitched. The Givenchy leather look with exaggerated mutton sleeves, however, was the most compelling surprise. I didn’t expect her to pull it off, but she did.

Ariana Grande for Wicked: For Good placed second, followed by Renate Reinsve for Sentimental Value in third, Zoey Deutch for Nouvelle Vague in fourth, and Scarlett Johansson for Jurassic World: Rebirth in fifth.
