Catherine, Princess of Wales Wore Emilia Wickstead To The Anna Freud Visit
Catherine, Princess of Wales paid a visit to the children’s mental health charity Anna Freud in London today.

Considering we are deep in coat-dress weather here in London, I’ll admit I was surprised to see her step out in this Emilia Wickstead houndstooth dress. But given the purpose of the visit — a hands-on engagement with a charity dedicated to supporting young people — this slightly softer, less formal silhouette felt like the right approach.
The sharply tailored collar and long sleeves still offered the structure she favours, but there was a sense of daytime ease. It’s the kind of dress that works when the occasion calls for professionalism without leaning into full state-visit glamour.

Her look was styled with a pair of grey BOSS embossed leather pumps, while the DeMellier The Small Hudson Mocha suede bag brought in a warmer contrast note.

She finished the look with her sapphire and diamond drop earrings.
Overall, it was a considered choice for the engagement: approachable, refined, and sophisticated in its simplicity.
