Johnnie Walker Blue Label, Rahul Mishra, and Priyanka Chopra hosted an intimate evening at The Dorchester in London last night, marking the lead-up to Monday’s Diwali celebrations.

The actress, who rarely misses the opportunity to deliver a high-fashion statement, wore a breathtaking red gown from Rahul Mishra’s Fall 2024 Couture AURA collection. The one-shoulder silhouette, adorned with intricate embroidery in dégradé shades of red, felt deeply rooted in Indian craftsmanship while still aligning with the grandeur of couture.

With the gown’s fluid draping along with Priyanka’s bold red lip, and diamond jewellery, this was a masterclass in festive glamour that feels true to her global style identity — East meets West.

However, while the embroidery and colour were spectacular, the long trailing train got lost on this red carpet — an unfortunate case of too much dress, not enough space.

Still, there’s no denying that Priyanka’s aura — much like the collection’s name.
