Catherine Zeta-Jones Wore Alberta Ferretti To The ‘Wednesday’ Season 2 New York Premiere

Catherine Zeta-Jones joined her co-star and fictional daughter Jenna Ortega on the red carpet for the Wednesday Season 2 New York premiere, held at the Paris Theatre on Tuesday, where she delivered yet another masterclass in channeling Morticia Addams—without slipping into costume territory. This was pure, elevated gothic glamour.

Wearing a head-to-toe black Alberta Ferretti ensemble from the Fall 2025 collection, she effortlessly blended sharp tailoring with spectral elegance. The shawl-lapel blazer with a plunging neckline nodded to Morticia’s sultry sophistication, while the long, ruffle-trimmed silk chiffon duster with a train added a ghostly, almost cinematic drama that trailed behind her like a shadow. Paired with semi-sheer wide-leg trousers, the look played with opacity and movement—flirting with the ethereal without losing its strength.

It’s high-fashion Morticia: unapologetically dark, subtly witchy, and completely in control. Every element—down to the dark sunglasses and signature cascading waves—reinforced her role as the Addams family matriarch, reimagined for the red carpet. Perfectly on theme, yet sophisticated enough to stand alone as a fashion moment.

My only gripe was the modification of the blazer. Granted, Catherine likely didn’t want to be as exposed as the model on the runway, but I would’ve preferred it layered with a cami top or paired with a different blazer that didn’t need altering.

Fiametta and EFFY Jewelry completed her look.

Stylist: Kelly Johnson.
