Zoe Saldana returned to the Cannes Film Festival red carpet for the Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning premiere, and this time she arrived as an Oscar winner. But if you were expecting that status to come with added drama, think again.

Saint Laurent and Anthony Vaccarello clearly had a memo for 2025: dial it all the way down. Zoe’s look was pure Saint Laurent DNA—sleek, minimal, a little moody—with a satin black backless dress.

But it was the addition of the leather bomber jacket—shrugged off the shoulder with a knowing cool-girl touch—that really set the tone. Effortlessly undone. Paired with the brand’s Salomé wedges, the whole thing was very “I just threw this on,” even though we know better.
