Michelle Williams Wore Proenza Schouler To The ‘Dying For Sex’ New York Premiere
After serving up retro vibes for Good Morning America and channeling boho chic for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Michelle Williams switched gears yet again for the Dying For Sex New York premiere.

This time, she embraced a softer, more ethereal aesthetic in a lilac matte jersey Proenza Schouler Serra dress from the Spring 2025 collection.
And honestly? I couldn’t be more relieved. After back-to-back black-and-white looks, I was starting to wonder if we were in for a monochrome streak. Instead, this delicate springtime hue feels fresh, feminine, and perfectly in tune with the season. The way the fabric drapes and gathers at the waist adds an effortless elegance, proving that simplicity can still make an impact.
That said, I do wish the styling leaned into the romantic nature of the dress a little more. The high-shine, flipped-out hairstyle feels a touch too structured for such a fluid design. A softer, more relaxed hairdo—perhaps loose waves—would have complemented the dress’ dreamy aesthetic far better.
Overall, this was a refreshing switch-up for Michelle. Now, if she could just trade in the lacquered hair for something a little more undone, we’d have a flawless fashion moment on our hands.
