Selena Gomez Wore Rodarte To The ‘Wizards Beyond Waverly Place’ LA Premiere

Taking a brief break from her ‘Emilia Perez’ press tour, Selena Gomez made a nostalgic return to her roots, reprising her role as Alex Russo at the world premiere of Disney’s ‘Wizards Beyond Waverly Place,’ held at El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles on Monday.

After a series of black dresses, Selena opted for her second favourite colour—red—wearing a custom Rodarte peplum dress embroidered with sequins.

Amidst a sea of sequin dresses this season, it’s refreshing to see one that doesn’t rely solely on embellishment. The structured peplum and unique collar add a chic twist, though I suspect not everyone will be on board with that collar’s boldness.

The collar is an interesting addition, but it does leave me wondering how the dress might look if it didn’t stick out quite as much. Nonetheless, it’s a fun nod to Selena’s playful style, especially in her iconic Alex Russo era.

Messika jewels and red Christian Louboutin Hot Chick slingbacks added final, fiery touch.
