Princess Leonor of Asturias wears Allegiance To The Constitution In Sastrería Serna

Crown Princess Leonor of Asturias swore allegiance to the constitution at the Cortes Generales (the Spanish Parliament), on her 18th birthday on Tuesday (October 31) in Madrid, Spain, as her father did nearly forty years ago.

Princess Leonor looked elegant performing her royal duties, in a white Sastrería Serna suit, which she styled with a sleek ponytail paired with block Lodi heels and diamond earrings.

I was going to say that white suits are trending this week, but Royal style expert Miranda Holder shared that white is traditionally a popular style choice for major royal events.

She said, “White symbolises the purity and divinity of the Monarch – who was, after all, believed to be appointed by God – this is classic colour psychology.”

We all know how stylish Queen Letizia of Spain is, and this occasion was no exception.

This was Princess Leonor’s day, so that might be the reason why Queen Letizia opted to wear this Carolina Herrera Fall 2013 blue dress, which is a rerun from her October 2022 trip to Berlin.
