Karol G Wore Dolce & Gabbana To The 2023 Billboard Latin Music Awards
Colombian superstar Karol G was the winner of five awards at the 2023 Billboard Latin Music Awards which took place on Thursday (October 5) in Coral Gables, Florida.
Two of the awards were for her album ‘Mañana Será Bonito’ as Top Latin Album of the year.
‘The set,’ which debuted at No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart — the first Spanish-language album by a female artist to do so in history — also won Latin Rhythm Album of the year.
She also took home the Hot Latin Songs artist of the year, female and top Latin Albums artist of the year, female awards.
In addition, she was honoured with Billboard’s Spirit of Hope Award for her philanthropic work supporting women through her Con Cora Foundation.
On her special night the award-winner chose a Dolce & Gabbana custom satin corset and floor length skirt entirely adorned with bugle-bead and crystal fringe tassels.
This look was very on brand for Karol in terms of being free-spirited and making the ultimate party-girl statement.
I love how the fringe detail allowed for infinite movement as she glided along the red carpet and on stage to collect her awards.
The only downside for me, is that I don’t think she is suited to blonde hair.  I actually prefer her blue and red hair era to this. Well, with red extensions anyone can easily get the red hair they wish for.
