Amanda Collin Wore Chanel To ‘The Promised Land’ Venice Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Amanda Collin made it a Chanel Resort 2024 double for both the photocall and premiere of her new film ‘Bastarden (The Promised Land)’ during the 2023 Venice International Film Festival on Friday (September 1).

For the photocall the mood was comfy and laid back, but I’m sure some deem this double-knit look – despite its apparent breathability – too heavy for a summer photocall.

Personally, I don’t really mind the look.  Maybe because it reminds me of the sweaters my mother wore in the ‘80s, which you can find in vintage stores now.

My issue is the white Chanel Mary Janes with the contrasting black bow, which are the most random pairing.

When I think of resort collections, I think of clothes that would serve those heading to a warm climate, not a quilted Chanel duster coat.

I wish Amanda had worn this look without it, considering this premiere took place before nightfall, and the chain-linked top looks more appealing.
