Bulgari Spring 2023 Accessories Collection Event

Bulgari presented its new Spring Summer 2023 leather goods and accessories collection by returning to its Milanese home at the enchanting Bulgari Hotel on Friday (September 23) in Italy during Fashion Week.

The last time we saw Nieves Alvarez during the 2022 Venice Film Festival we were a little underwhelmed, so I was delighted to see her back in sparkling form wearing a look from Balenciaga.

Her look was of course styled with the hosts jewels, but I found myself distracted by her Christian Louboutin ‘Bombina Pampilla’ sandals which we recently saw on Taylor Swift.

I prefer the shoes with this look as they don’t feel like they are competing with the rest of her outfit, despite the jewels.

Tina Kunakey kept things simple wearing a black dress. But both the hairstyle and choice of clutch didn’t work for me.

Jon Kortajarena gave us a preview of what we can expect from the Elie Saab Haute Couture Man collection.

Much like the women’s Haute Couture, it looks like plenty of embellished pieces will be in the mix.

A rather large Bulgari pendant necklace, a Bulgari timepiece and Christian Louboutin patent leather shoes completed his look.

I have seen a lot of Anna Dello Russo during Milan Fashion Week, and every time I see her, she’s in a totally different outfit.

I’m convinced that she must change in the car between shows.

For this evening event, she would’ve had plenty of time to get glam wearing a strapless brown and silver embellished gown from Alberta Ferretti.

Am I alone in feeling that she should’ve opted for jewels in warm tones such as gold or rich rose gold?

You may remember that back in 2021, Tiffany Haddish wore this same gown to the Golden Globes.
