‘Top Gun: Maverick’ South Korea Premiere & Press Conference

In the absence of Jennifer Connelly, it was left to the men of ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ to take South Korea by storm for the close of their promo tour, which – style-wise – has been a huge success, along with raking in nearly a billion dollars in the box office.

Greg Tarzan Davis, Jay Ellis, Miles Teller, Glen Powell and Tom Cruise are quite possibly the best dressed casts of 2022.

What I have learned from Greg Tarzan Davis, is that the actor is not afraid to stand out.

On this occasion he rocked a unique Kaushik Velendra Spring 2022 colour-blocked suit in gold and black to a subtle but impactful effect. 

The following day for the photocall, he wore a beautiful digital houndstooth silk set Grayscale.

He had me in all the colours of the rainbow.

I’m sure many will liken this look to PJs.

David Yurman jewels completed his look.

Style wise, Jay Ellis was on par with his co-star in terms of standing out with his chic suits.

For the premiere he embraced summer suiting by wearing a pale grey dunhill look.

I’m so enamoured by the colour and sharpness of the cut and the fabric.  I bet this look didn’t feature a single crease.

I have a feeling the split trousers will be a dealbreaker for some, but I really loved the Grayscale look he wore for the press conference.

Maybe I’m hypnotised by the shades of chocolate, which concluded with his Santoni boots.

Jay and Miles Teller were almost matching in their pale grey suits.

It looks like Miles was saving his best look of the promo tour for last, as this Tom Ford Cooper notch suit is easily one for his hall of fame – even if I’m not totally sold on the silver Tom Ford Bradden Chelsea boots

Keleigh Sperry posed alongside her husband wearing a Zuhair Murad Pre-Fall 2022 taffeta emerald green ballgown which is my least favourite look from her during this tour.

It looks much better on the model with the steamer on standby.

In theory I do like the midnight blue suit he wore to the press conference, but I kinda wish he had worn a top in a contrasting colour.

Glen Powell has showcased impeccable style during this promo tour.  This blue linen look is everything you want from a summer look; unstructured and relaxed.

For the photocall, he opted for a smart casual look from Brioni.

Tom Cruise also opted to wear Brioni for the premiere, before having a rare smart casual look for the press conference. 

I have to say it’s a tie between both of Greg Tarzan Davis and Jay Ellis’ looks for me.
