Cannes Film Festival Closing Ceremony Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup from the closing ceremony of the 2022 Cannes Film Festival on Saturday (May 28) in France.

We’ve seen a lot of Ashi Studio’s Couture looks at this festival.

In this red embellished Spring 2020 Haute Couture mini dress with a dramatic train, Maria Borges presented my favourite one from the designer.

If I was to categorize Marie’s style I would say she’s a glamour girl, so this felt like a more directional look for her. 

For the second year in a row, Alba Rohrwacher presented a mute red carpet set of looks for this festival.

I was starting to think that I dreamt of a time when her style was edgier, but looking back, that was her Louis Vuitton era.

In Christian Dior her style is more understated and minimalist. 

Andie Macdowell’s gorgeous green satin high neck gown was upstaged by her Euphoria-inspired makeup.

Anna Mouglalis is the only Chanel ambassador who consistently selects red carpet looks that complement her style and grace.

This is a true match made in fashion heaven.

Isabeli Fontana channels a very different aesthetic in this Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini gown.

What made this look even more special was the Elsa Jin Couture emerald and diamond brooch which rendered any other piece of jewellery redundant.

Dior ambassador Isabelle Fuhrman brought her festival to an end wearing a Dior Haute Couture blue tulle gown, which would’ve worked better if the nude lining weren’t so visible, or also blue.

Jasmine Trinca‘s all Prada all-of-the-time run ended with this chocolate hued Prada chiffon embellished gown styled with Chopard jewels.

This is the kind of style and energy I expect from Kat Graham. This is much better than her amfAR Gala look.
