Lil Nas X Wore Balmain To Variety’s Hitmakers Brunch

Variety’s fifth annual Hitmakers brunch saluting the artists and industry insiders behind the year’s biggest music hits gathered at City Market Social House in Downtown Los Angeles on Saturday (December 4) with Lil Nas X in attendance.

Honestly. 

My immediate feeling was that this Balmain Spring 2022 look (especially the styling) felt a little sloppy by Lil Nas X’s standards.

I love when he gets creative and brings red carpet menswear looks which are usually confined to runways, editorials, and ad campaigns, but this ain’t it.

The blazer was added to bring some polish and finesse to the look, but didn’t cut it.

I think my biggest issue is the fabric (which looks a little cheap) and the black platforms which are too heavy for this look.

He can do SO much better.
