Awkwafina Wore J. W. Anderson To The ‘Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings’ London Premiere
Awkwafina joined Fala Chen at the London premiere of ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ held at The Curzon Mayfair on Thursday (August 26).
The actress has been “dress shy” during this promo tour, giving us nothing but crisp tailoring, and I have enjoyed every minute of it.
On this occasion she wore a J. W. Anderson cropped wraparound peak lapels blazer and wide leg tuxedo trousers from the Pre-Fall 2021 collection.
What I love about this look are the utilitarian details which toughen up the look, giving this suit a unique perspective which suits her personality.
She really seems much more comfortable and, in her element, than she did during the ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ promo tour which is always a joy to see.
Some might feel that the trousers sit too high, or that her torso might not be long enough to pull this off, but I think perhaps the pose might be throwing things off a little bit here as she’s slouched.Â
