Top 10 Most Popular Celebrity Wedding Dresses Of Last Decade

Wedding season is in full swing, and with restrictions lifting allowing more guests and dancing, it’ll likely to be a season to remember.
The backlog for wedding dresses has increased this year, with shops reporting a 36% increase in bookings since pre-covid.
Using SEMRush keyword search the top 10 most searched celebrity wedding dresses are as follows:
- Meghan Markle in Givenchy. I was surprised to see this top of the list as the comments from that day I sensed that most were underwhelmed. But for the wider public this was the most searched for those brides-to-be seeking inspiration for their big day.

2. Catherine Middleton in Alexander McQueen. I will always remember Catherine Middleton and Prince William’s royal wedding on April 29, 2011, mostly because it’s my birthday, and for the dramatic entrance she made into Westminster Abbey with her 25 foot train.
Catherine wore the Queen’s Cartier Halo tiara on her wedding day, also known as the Cartier Scroll tiara.
Honestly, I’m surprised this wasn’t number 1.
3. Hailey Bieber in Off-White. Hailey and Justin Bieber were married in 2019 with The Notebook-themed lavish ceremony in South Carolina, where the bride wore a white Virgil Abloh x Off-White lace gown.
Her second dress of the day was a mini bespoke Vivienne Westwood Couture dress.
4. Ariana Grande in Vera Wang. Inspired by Audrey Hepburn’s 1957 film ‘Funny Face,’ her custom white, silk charmeuse, empire-waist column gown featured an exposed bra-strap closure, sculpted neckline, a sultry draped back. This dress was very befitting of the pop star.

5. Ellie Goulding in Chloé. The singer walked down the aisle wearing in a long-sleeved gown by Chloé creative director Natacha Ramsay-Levi, which featured a lace-adorned ruffle collar and sweeping silk tulle veil – both lovingly embroidered with the couple’s initials.
6. Gwen Stefani in Vera Wang. I’m not surprised to see another Vera Wang gown on this list. The designer would top any bride-to-be’s wish list.
She donned a gown with structured bustier and typically playful full tulle skirt featuring a long train, and a short front. To finish her bridal ensemble, she accessorised with a dramatic sheer veil accented with floral detailing and a bow.
Personally, I preferred her mini dress for the reception as this was Gwen through and through, but of course the day required the fairy-tale moment for the ceremony.
7. Serena Williams in Alexander McQueen. The tennis star wore three dresses on her big day, but the McQueen dress was the 7th most searched dress.
The gown featured a smooth strapless neckline and a voluminous princess skirt, topped off with a simple cape.
8. Hilary Duff in Jenny Packham. The actress wore an ivory Jenny Packham power-shoulder dress featuring a fishtail skirt with the split caped sleeves which cascaded into an impressive train.
When it came to her hair she kept things very simple, with a slight wave, and a delicate headband featuring diamonds and pearls.

9. Ciara in Cavalli Couture. Ciara and Russell Wilson’s nuptials took place in 2016 at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, England.

You can’t get married in a Castle without wearing a fairy tale gown, which was provided by her friend Peter Dundas, who created a custom-made long-sleeve Cavalli Couture gown with a deep V-neckline, composed of white silk tulle, fully embroidered with floral, wheat and hummingbird motifs throughout, and delicate glass beading, covered entirely with precious Chantilly lace appliqué.
10. Karlie Kloss in Christian Dior. You know what? Not everyone wants that big tulle, 50ft train gown, with a flowing veil. So that is why I’m personally not surprised to see Karlie Kloss on this list.
Her Western-themed ceremony was her fairy tale wedding, which saw the model wearing a custom off-the-shoulder lace maxi dress by Maria Grazia Chiuri.
