Selena Gomez Wore Two Looks Hosting The Global Citizen VAX Live: Concert to Reunite the World
Selena Gomez hosted the ‘Global Citizen VAX Live: Concert to Reunite the World’ on Sunday (May 2), where Jennifer Lopez performed.
The aim of the concert was to raise awareness regarding the safety of vaccines, tackle COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy, and celebrate a hopeful future.
For the event, Selena opted to return to the blonde hair I remember her flaunting back in 2017.
I wasn’t crazy about it then, and I’m not so crazy about it now. I just don’t think it doesn’t anything for her.
When it comes to her red Bottega Veneta cocoon sleeve mini dress from the Resort 2021 collection, I love the “all eyes are on me” energy of it all, as the exaggerated oversized puff sleeves make this a statement look to ensure the host was centre of attention.
The boots did nothing to enhance the look. I find them quite garish to be honest, as they don’t work with the edgy sophistication of the dress.
I would’ve expected her second look to have the same uplifting energy as the first, but this Victor Glemaud Resort 2020 dress saw the singer keep things more simple while presenting.
The diamond detail wasn’t the only standout detail, as she rocked Magda Butrym polka dots pumps with this look.
Messika jewels added a touch of sparkle to each outfit.
