Noemi Was Elevated In Dolce & Gabbana

Noemi is an Italian singer-songwriter who rose to fame in 2009, after competing in the second season of the Italian version of the talent show X Factor.

She shared a look on her Instagram yesterday which IMMEDIATELY took me back to 2007.

Why?

Because she was wearing a dress from the Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2007 collection which was as iconic for the runway looks, as the models who wore them.

And because Naomi Campbell wore a dress from this same collection on the final day of her Community Service in New York.

The ladies only share the same name, but the styling of their dresses was very different.

What made dresses from this collection have “a moment” was the addition of the metal corsets.

Noemi still looks gorgeous, but I feel the dress needed the belt to reach that top level.
