‘Minamata’ Berlinale Film Festival Premiere with Minami & Katherine Jenkins

Japanese actress Minami and Welsh singer-actress Katherine Jenkins hit the red carpet for the premiere of their film ‘Minamata,’ screened during the Berlinale Special Gala on Friday (February 21) in Germany.

Minami: I think you’d be hard-pressed to find a Hollywood starlet who hasn’t donned a Stella McCartney creation for a red-carpet event.   Flexing her tailoring expertise, this gown is meticulously cut to a backless silhouette which pools languidly at the floor.

The best bit? Aside from the colour and detailing?  It’s spun from sustainably sourced materials.

Katherine Jenkins:  This is Katherine’s film debut, but she’s hit countless red carpets in the past, so opting for red carpet-worthy, decadent, thunder-stealing creations was nothing new for the singer-actress.

She tapped into Rasario’s sensual aesthetic wearing this dramatic black gown which strikes the right note with a fitted lace bodice that flares to a tulle skirt.

Tiffany & Co. jewels completed her look.
