Kim Kardashian Wore Vintage Roberto Cavalli For The Gram

Another day, another Instagram snap from Kim Kardashian who ranked up over 2 million likes when she posted this image her feed two days ago.

The reality star has been aligning herself as the queen of all things vintage for over a year now.

Is this an effort to stand out?   Does she want to be unique, stamp her own personality on her clothing and give herself an edge over  peers?

Does she want to save the planet by recycling, rather than buying clothes she’s only going to wear once, and probably only for an Instagram picture?

As we become increasingly concerned with sustainability and the effect of fast fashion on the environment, buying pre-worn clothes keeps them out of landfill and reduces our footprint.

Whatever the reason is, there is no denying that she is – or someone is on her behalf – picking the most Kim Kardashian dresses you can find.

Much like this magenta macro zebra printed silk dress with fur details from the Roberto Cavalli Fall 2000 collection.

Cavalli doesn’t make dresses like this anymore (sadly), so in this case I am not at all surprised she opted to go vintage.

If I didn’t know better, I would say this was a custom design as it suits her M.O. and style. Super sexy.
