Cobie Smulders’ Asymmetric Style For The ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ LA Premiere

Cobie Smulders in Oscar de la Renta - Spider-Man Far From Home LA Premiere

Cobie Smulders joined Marisa Tomei for the premiere of ‘Spider-Man Far From Home’ on Wednesday (June 26) in Hollywood, California.

The Marvel actress, was a marvel herself taking to the red carpet wearing a gorgeous dress with a summer blockbuster premiere in mind  from Oscar de la Renta’s Fall 2019 collection.

Layering a black corset under white guipure lace ensured this piece offered the chicest blend of elegance and edge.

I love how the asymmetrical cut and scalloped edges accentuates the slim-fitting bodice, and allows the skirt to flare into a striking silhouette, cascading down into a high-low hem.

Cobie kept the styling simple with strappy sandals and an ear cuff to give the look a sci-fi edge.

I love it! All of it, the dress is a modern masterpiece, the hair is something new, the make up flawless. And her smile as always radiant

A low-profile, summer look for a summer premiere in which you are not the star. Perfect.

her hairstyle (which I don’t like much) make me stop to look at her. she has tried something new & I like it.

I like it and I like it on her. Most of her style choices are kind of meh for me. This is different. Spot on with the black corset to keep the lace doily vibe at bay.

I don’t like it. I find the dress limp looking and kind of a mess. I dint like the way it sits on her body. Its just unappealing to look at.

I might be going against the grain but I kinda like this. It feels fresh and different for me and very LA summer appropriate for me!

So soft and romantic. Best dress of the week nominee.
Very event appropriate also. She plays a supporting role in the movie so this is so perfect for her.

Nope. Looks like a fancy tablecloth

I don’t like this on her at all! Looked better On the runway. The hair isn’t working and even though I like the shoes they seem too small and painful on her.

I like it! She should have worn her hair pulled back in a slick bun. I think it would have worked better.

I am not a fan of this dress, maybe in different colour it’d be better.
But I like the beauty look and the hair.

Not a fan of the dress, shoes, and hairstyle. I like Cobie’s makeup though.

I like the dress and the sandals but I don’t like her hairstyle, the pose or that the sandals look too small and they seem to be showing off a bunion.

I don’t like dress, it looks dated and like an old curtain.
And the shoes seem too small, it hurts to look at her feet.

This is just giving off too much ‘lace table cloth’ vibes for me to get behind.

    She looks amazing!
I love her and I love her style!

I am not a big Oscar de la Renta fan or a fan of asymmetry but Cobie look great here. If you are going asymmetrical then do it completely like it is done here. I hate the shoes though. They look extremely uncomfortable and highlight what looks like a bunion.
