Taylor Swift’s ME! Is A Musical-Inspired Journey Over The Rainbow

Taylor Swift’s music video for her new single, ‘ME!’ (with Panic! At The Disco frontman Brendon Urie) launched last night, and the song is already stuck in my internal jukebox, and is likely to be staying there for some time.

The whimsical music video seems to be a beautiful mash up ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ meets ‘Umbrellas of Cherbourg’ meets ‘The Greatest Showman,’ starting off with slithery snake exploding into butterflies before cutting to Taylor.

This is no doubt in reference to Kim Kardashian famously calling Taylor a snake on Twitter following drama with Kanye West.

The singer was at her charming best wearing a Monique Lhuillier Fall 2019 v-neck full tea length dress with floral embroidery, which was styled with one-of-a-kind tourmaline and opal earrings by Alison Lou for the opening look.

One of my favourite parts of this music video is the dance break with a rainbow of Victoria Hayes suits and matching bags.

This is really an uplifting, depression busting, enchanting visual delight.
