Issa Rae’s Circular Sequin Style At The ‘Little’ LA Premiere

Issa Rae switched things up for the premiere ‘Little’ premiere on Monday  (April 8) in Westwood, California, where she joined Marsai Martin.

The actress usually presents a boho, mother earth laidback look on the red carpet.

But in joining the Balmain-army, hemlines are shorter, and shapes become more exaggerated like this black sequin dress from the Spring 2019 collection.

I love that this change of direction didn’t feel force, or uncomfortable. 

Issa is a tall, beautiful goddess, so she can pull off just about anything.

It reminds me of creature from an alien movie and Miss Elliot’s look from ‘The Rain’ music video.

A selection of jewels from Harry Kotlar and Djula completed her look along with a Sam Edelman’s simple black sandals.
