Cate Blanchett In Stella McCartney Green Carpet Collection – Green Carpet Fashion Awards Italia 2018

Cate Blanchett In Stella McCartney Green Carpet Collection - Green Carpet Fashion Awards Italia 2018

Cate Blanchett attended the Green Carpet Fashion Awards on Sunday (September 23) in Milan, Italy, where she presented the Eco Stewardship Award to The Woolmark farmers.

The actress wore a silk white jumpsuit with a hand-printed wool cape from Stella McCartney’s 2014 Green Carpet Collection.

Front the front Cate is class and elegance personified.

You may not fully understand the impact of the red patent pumps, until you see the back of the cape.

At first I was also longing for a red lip, but in hindsight, I think the look works better with all the drama at the back.

I’m here for the cape. The suit has issues, and not only the bra.

I quite like this but the dark bra kills the look. Having said that I would probably do that, just out of sheer laziness – lol!!!

what a silly outfit, the cape makes no sense at all

awful pants. Not a great look at all.

    I love Cate but no.

The front is terrible and why on earth would she wear a dark bra underneath. If this outfit were more sharply tailored, maybe. This is a straight up no for me. Not even Cate.

I don’t care for the front of the look, but the back is cool..

Business at the front, party at the.back…I like it!

I think it’s chic, overall, but I find the red pumps quite jarring from the front. I think pale blue might have worked better if she’s attempting to recall the colors of her outfit.

+1, pale blue pumps would’ve been perfect

I sometimes feel she tries too hard being “avant garde”, when it’s actually in classy, minimal looks when she lets her inner elegance and poise do the talking and, per se, excels.

I find this look quite in the middle and love it from the back; the length of the trousers not so much…maybe if they had the same length as the cape…

She’s been trying a little too hard lately but she gets a lot of love. She doesn’t need to try to be a Tilda (there’s only one, really) who can fully commit and sell something unusual. That cape shouldn’t have been paired with anything else from that outfit.

Chic and I like the print at the back with shoes a nice pop of colour from the front and tying in the back beautifully.
