Jessica Chastain In Oscar de la Renta – ‘Molly’s Game’ New York Premiere

After a show-stopping turn at the ‘Molly’s Game, Amsterdam premiere, Jessica Chastain hit the red carpet again at the ‘Molly’s Game’ New York premiere on Wednesday (December 13).

The actress has had a succession of divine looks and I think that this one will go down favorably, too.

This time, she opted for dramatic detailing in an Oscar de la Renta Sprig 2018 gown. The curving black lines flecked with the designer’s logo create great movement while adding a somber edge to the white tulle base.

I love how her longer version presents a more sophisticated finish compared to the youthful shorter silhouette on the runway.

The additional tulle layers also allow for a great appreciation of the embroidery.

The illusion neckline is way too visible and distracting.
The brand printed on the skirt is silly and makes it tacky. I just really cannot.
I love the idea of this dress but it needed some extra work.

I can’t stand branding on gowns, even if it is Mr de la Renta’s. That said this is still one of her better looks recently.

Lovely dress but I don’t like it on her. Her stylist doesn’t know how to pick dresses that suit her body type. This stumpifies her, the dress at the London Premiere made her seem wide. The blue Elie Saab in Amsterdam was nice though and a perfect example of what works well on her IMO

Not particularly wowed, but I think it’s elegant and it suits her style. I dislike the illusion neckline but it’s not a deal-breaker.

From the neck up she looks absolutely stunning.

Stunning gown. Personally I do prefer the runway presentation but for Jessica this is great.

This is ugly and the illusion necklace is way too obvious.

i do not like the short lining underneath, it looks like lingerie. Not sure why they could not line it with white tulle or something similar.

Otherwise i like it a lot on her.

I like it, it’s different and quite bold

There were a lot of pretty dresses in this collection but this isn’t one of them.

    The dress is pretty ugly.
It looks like a unfinished project.

Wow, she looks amazing. I love it on her. And it’s different from everything else she has worn so far this year. A strong BDOTW-contender.
