Maisie Williams In Charlie Brear – 2017 SAG Awards

Maisie Williams’ was one of the many ‘Games of Thrones’ actresses to take the red carpet at the 2017 SAG Awards in LA on Sunday (January 29).

This look might divide opinion.

Not because of her gorgeous Charlie Brear gown, which was cut on the bias for a flattering drape; it’s the lip.

Personally, I love the deep berry lip. She was already working a rose-hued eye makeup, so the bold lip with her pale skin and dark hair added some drama.

The look was very classic, so why not have fun with the makeup?

Wow. I actually LOVE everything about this on her. Stunning.

I might be the only one having an issue with the dress color, I wish it was maybe a shade darker so it stands out a bit more against her skin. But I love the lip color čÖé

I just heard you’re back with the blog!!! I’m so happy!!
Maise looks beautiful, but I would love if she kept the belt like the model. Beautiful make-up.

The dress is working on Maisie. It’s not as stunning and dramatic as her look at the Globes, but I didn’t expect it to be. I like the dark lip tbh. Especially in the close-up. It definitely makes the whole look more interesting.

I don’t love the beauty look in the full length photo, but the up close from instagram looks great and sells me, at least on the idea of the look.

+1 Ditto. So glad the close up was included. She looks like a sepia-tinged painting or something in it with the beauty look.

I just wish the lipstick were ONE shade lighter. I love the idea of it, but in execution I think it was too overpowering.

I think it’s working pretty well–it’s a very rose-scented sepia vintage look with a goth touch.

I like the dress and the earrings but not the lipstick. I wished she used a more interesting belt, like the one on the model, for instance.

I think the idea of the look is right, I just don’t think it’s right for Maisie. She looks like a young girl trying to vamp it up and look all sexy and mature.

      I sadly agree.
