Carrie Underwood In Gauri & Nainika – 2015 CMA Awards

Carrie Underwood In Gauri & Nainika - 2015 CMA Awards

Carrie Underwood hit the red carpet for the 49th annual CMA Awards at the Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday (November 4) in Nashville, Tennessee, ahead of hosting the show for her eighth consecutive year alongside Brad Paisley.

Putting pageant on pause, the singer wore a coral-hue peplum gown from Indian-based designers Gauri & Nainika which I simply adore.

It couldn’t be a more perfect fit marrying her usual sugary style with a touch of modernity.

Her selection of jewels included diamond flower rings from Pasquale Bruni.

Its alright. Mostly I like the color. Not a fan of the peplum detail.

I was blown away by this. Beautiful.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with looking “pageant”, I’ve always hated the negative bubble around comments like that. Carrie is a Southern woman who embraces a little big hair and sparkle from time to time. Nothing wrong with that. That being said, I do like this more polished look on her. I’m not big on the plunge but the color is divine.

The colour is on point, and it’s amazing to see an Indian designer stateside!

Wow! She looks lovely and sleek! Proves that less is almost always better. Lover her hair.

Love the colour on her, but the skirt looks too long.

    It’s still country esque cheesy.

It’s the pageant tan, makeup and hair. She can never seem to shake that. Always looks like she’s wearing about a pound of foundation and concealer, and her eye makeup ventures into Eva Longroria territory.

THANK YOU! I cannot get past her make up not even if she wore the best dress out there. She needs to get a more natural make up that does not make her look like a white GEISHA 🙁

The colour is lovely on her, don’t like the fit in the bust area.

I think this might be one of her best looks ever.
