Lucy Liu In Monique Lhuillier – ‘Hamilton’ Broadway Opening Night

Lucy Liu joined Sarah Jessica Parker on the red carpet for the Broadway opening night performance of ‘Hamilton’ at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on Thursday (August 6) in New York City.

The actress wore a full Monique Lhuillier Resort 2016 look which consisted of a floral print coat and white lace dress, which she accessorized with a ‘Lily’ coral and gold tassel accented clutch.

Pretty as this is, my first reaction to this was this should’ve been saved for Helen Mirren.

Upon reflection, I don’t think Helen would pick a dress where the waist hits at such an unflattering point.

Had Lucy picked look 23 I would’ve been screaming BDOTW worthy.
