Gillian Jacobs In Preen – 2015 Film Independent Spirit Awards

Gillian Jacobs attended the 2015 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday (February 21) at Santa Monica Beach in Santa Monica, California.

Adhering to the more laidback flavour of these film awards, the ‘Community’ actress wore a playful Preen Resort 2015 frock with quirky mixed floral and insect motifs all encased within geometric patterning.

Beach-y waves were a natural fit for the occasion, with the added pizzazz coming courtesy of her red studded Barbara Bui pumps that accent the same colour in the dress.

Having seen the lookbook version, I can’t help but crave the added visual interest of the cropped, short-sleeve top and the asymmetric, diagonal hem of the skirt, as it adds another layer of directional charm. But the one-piece dress is more in line with Gillian’s style.
