Here is a very quick look at some of the other looks which caught my eye at the 28th Annual ARIA Awards held at the Star today (November 26) in Sydney, Australia.
The Veronicas: The Australia pop duo, made up of identical twin sisters Lisa Origliasso (L) and Jessica Origliasso (R), both entered the red carpet in intricate J’Aton Couture goth-glam looks.
Lisa Origliasso: Her emerald creation – beaded throughout – featuring an illusion neckline created an off-the-shoulder sensual feel that didn’t need that eyesore of a clutch.
Jessica Origliasso: The rock n’ roller for the duo went for an edgier look wearing a plunging black jumpsuit also fully beaded with a web-like effect. This was my favourite of the two. Plenty of attitude without trying too hard. On this occasion I like how her clutch with an emerald stone complements her sister’s look.
Samantha Jade: The singer-songwriter looked divine wearing a Paolo Sebastian two-piece white look with delicate lace embroidery. The styling was on point with silver Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and a silver studded Alexander McQueen union jack clutch.
Kate Peck: The model and MTV personality Kate Peck went for a bold look in a sheer Dyspena two-piece with pom-pom embellishment to ensure plenty of attention and column inches.
Montana Cox: The Australian Next Top Model cycle 7 winner wore an Alice McCall strapless printed dress which instantly made me think of Mary Katrantzou.
Anja Nissen: The singer who won season 3 of The Voice wore a sheer black dress with blue floral embroidery, which has one of the most perfect illusion necklines I have seen in a while, so it’s a shame that the twins are squished so uncomfortably.
Megan Washington: We’ve seen this Stella McCartney dual-colour fringed dress a few times, most notably on Liv Tyler.
Havana Brown: Is it a gown or is it a mini? Havana’s red Bec & Bridge Jekyll and Hyde dress is sending mixed messages.
Charli XCX: After her sombre AMAs Vivenne Westwood look, the singer opted for a more colour look for this event. Very early Katy Perry don’t you agree?
Who stands out here for you?
