Alexa Chung attended the Harper’s Bazaar Celebrates ICONS by Carine Roitfeld at The Plaza Hotel in New York City on September 5.

For her night on the town, the style icon wore a strapless black circle-print Osman gown with scallop hem- and bust-line detailing from the designer’s Resort 2015 collection.

She paired the dress with a Mark Cross bag and lace-up peep toe pumps.

I think Alexa looks lovely here. I love that she pulled some of her hair back, and a slight cat eye and bright red lip amp up the volume a bit from her typical understated approach to beauty.
