Janelle Monae In Christian Siriano – 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Janelle Monae stunned at the Vanity Fair Oscar party on Sunday (March 4) in Beverly Hills, California.

As she continues to move away from her black-and-white days, she got the party started in a custom Christian Siriano suit in a bold red hue that offered an incredible fit as we’d expect from a custom design.

That said, the sharp tailoring was right within her signature style wheelhouse.

Yet, this look was no less striking for it. In fact, I’d go so far as to say this was one of the entertainer’s best, most captivating moments.

I really appreciated the long train emanating from the structured jacket for added festive, feminine flair to the suited-up appeal.

Mindy Kaling In Atelier Prabal Gurung – 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Mindy Kaling glistened at the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday (March 4) in Beverly Hills, joining Regina Hall and Olivia Wilde.

The new mom normally opts for bright colours, but she was clad in an Atelier Prabal Gurung gown which looked like a vivid night sky thanks to its inky fabric.

The subdued draping in the dress was echoed with her soft waves, enhancing the romance of the sequined style.

A Roger Vivier clutch topped off the moody ensemble.

Were you a fan of the dark shade on her?

Olivia Wilde In Roberto Cavalli Couture – 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Olivia Wilde celebrated awards season at the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday (March 4) in Beverly Hills, joining Regina Hall.

She shimmered in a Roberto Cavalli Couture gown. The stunner had a chain mail effect which was enhanced by the multiple straps and cut-outs.

It was strong yet the style also had a magical allure from the way it flowed to the ground.

Not to be missed was the Time’s Up pin affixed to the side of the dress.

Regina Hall In Tadashi Shoji – 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Regina Hall stepped out at the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday (March 4) in Beverly Hills, California.

The actress showed some skin in a Tadashi Shoji Spring 2017 gown with Dena Kemp rings and bracelets.

I know there will be many wishing the dress was lined, but the sheerness works in favour of the animal print design with the gold details enhancing her complexion.

The see-through skirt balances the plunging neckline by adding an alluring lightness.

Would you also believe that she is 47?

Katy Perry In Jean Paul Gaultier & Emma Roberts In Armani Privé – 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

On a night of what feels like a thousand dresses, you can forgive us for missing out one or two.

Here are the looks we shamefully missed from Katy Perry and Emma Roberts.

Katy Perry: The one thing you can’t predict is what style direction Katy is going to take, which makes her so fascinating to watch. On this occasion she went down the refreshingly grownup route donning a dynamic Jean Paul Gautier bronze gown that despite its many interesting elements didn’t feel overworked. Lorraine Schwartz and Ofira jewels plus a Jimmy Choo ‘Carmen’clutch and sandals in a deeper shade of bronze completed one of her best looks to date. Beyond stunning.

Emma Roberts: Donning her second Armani Privé gown of the night, Miss Roberts went into Mr. Armani’s archives selecting a gorgeous nude and pale green gown which hails from the designers second Armani Privé collection. At first I thought this was a printed dress but on closer inspection the dress is actually encrusted with crystals. I can only imagine how breath-taking it was in person.
