Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Best Colour-Blocking Award
Emma Stone was one of the presenters last night at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards.

She opted to follow one of the hottest trends of the season by wearing a Christian Dior Resort 2012 colour-block dress.

The long sleeve dress has a white sheer top half, a chocolate brown panel on the skirt and metallic bronze sequins for a touch of sparkle.

I love the way that the bronze complements her red hair.

This is a winning look for the actress, although I do love to see her in bright colours.

Emma completed her look with bronze Lanvin strappy sandals and Irene Neuwirth jewels.

Most Disappointing Award
It was great to see my girl Blake Lively on the red carpet at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards.

The ‘Gossip Girl’ actress wore a bright orange Gucci Resort 2012 leather dress.

Whilst the dress shows off her fabulous figure, I’m not at all crazy about look at all.

It feels too tight and too restricting for me.

I don’t understand why anyone would want to wear a leather dress during the summer. It continues to baffle me.

Her short sleeves fitted dress with a matching thin belt was teamed with animal print Christian Louboutin Pigalle pumps.

Blake opted for neutral make-up, a half-up half down hairstyle and added Lorraine Schwartz jewels to complete her look.

Love Everything But The Shoes Award
Rachel Bilson attended the 2011 Teen Choice Awards yesterday looking absolutely adorable.

This white Chloé Resort 2012 dress was the perfect choice for this event.

Her cute summery dress is cinched in at the waist and features ruffled detailing around the neckline.

Rachel accessorized Brian Atwood ‘Cohen Borchie’ studded ankle booties which for me was completely the wrong choice.

Everything else about her look, including her girly half-up, half-down hairstyle and pretty pink lipstick is so feminine and on this occasion, the juxtaposition of her tough, edgy shoes fails to work for me.

I would have loved a pair of colourful strappy heels instead, much like her aqua Casadei heels she recently wore.

Nice, But No Spark Award
Ashley Greene looked beautiful as she walked the blue carpet at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards.

She opted to wear a black and white Givenchy ensemble.

Her outfit consisted of a black pencil skirt with a white tank top which has a tailcoat-like piece at the back.

The unique top was accented with a gold thin metallic belt.

Ashley accessorized her look with strappy Givenchy heels and a diamond cuffed bracelet.

Her only source of colour came from her cherry red lipstick.

Whilst Ashley doesn’t look bad, her outfit is incredibly bland for a fun summer event such as the Teen Choice Awards.

I wish she had opted for bright colours or prints or at least accessorized with interesting shoes, like Cameron Diaz.

Nice Dress, Shame About The Belt Award
Zoe Saldana was glowing on the red carpet at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards in LA last night.

She wore a Lanvin Resort 2012 strapless dress.

The ombre bronze lamé pleated strapless tiered dress was paired with a beige rope and leather chord belt from the same collection.

The rest of her accessorizes included metallic gold Alexander McQueen heels, Jamie Wolf and Ippolita Rose bangles, Lana double ‘Olivia’ beaded gold earrings and a Carla Amorim ring.

Zoe’s flawless style, beautiful curly hair and makeup can mask how much I dislike her rope belt.

It almost ruins everything for me.

The belt is an odd choice for the style of dress she’s wearing.

Her look would’ve been a perfect look with a more complementary belt.

I rare misstep from Zoe, but we know she will redeem herself next time out.
