Sofia Carson In J. Mendel & Elie Saab – 2017 Person of the Year Gala & 2017 Latin Grammy Awards

Sofia Carson oozed elegance, first attending the 2017 Person of the Year gala on Wednesday (November 15) in Las Vegas, Nevada. Then she stepped out at the 2017 Latin Grammy Awards on Thursday (November 16) in Las Vegas.

2017 Person of the Year Gala: The singer and actress channeled glamour from decades past in a J. Mendel Fall 2017 gown. It had a refined elegance that showcased the sumptuous mix of fabrics, with the elbow-length gloves playing up the velvet skirt. I feel the accessory might be a sticking point for some, but she carried the elbow-length style off with such aplomb.

2017 Latin Grammy Awards: Continuing to present vintage elegance, the Disney star wore an Elie Saab Fall 2017 gown which had a romantic allure from the combination of feathers and lace. I adore the way the classic elements have been juxtaposed with the thoroughly modern sheer skirt complete with pockets.

Camila Cabello In Monique Lhuillier – 2017 Latin Grammy Awards

Continuing to show her softer side, Camila Cabello attended the 2017 Latin Grammy Awards on Thursday (November 16) in Las Vegas, Nevada, joining Roselyn Sanchez and Ana De Armas.

Following the Latin Recording Academy’s 2017 Person Of The Year gala, the singer donned another whimsical Monique Lhuillier Resort 2018 gown.

I was totally enamored by this beautiful princess moment.

The tulle base flecked with multicoloured sparkles and the muted watercolour design played into the Disney-esqe theme splendidly.

Was this too saccharine or are you loving this look as much a I am?

Roselyn Sanchez In Willfredo Gerardo – 2017 Latin Grammy Awards

Roselyn Sanchez joined Ana De Armas at the 2017 Latin Grammy Awards on Thursday (November 16) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The model and actress was clad in Willfredo Gerardo, a designer known for his glamorous, figure-flattering gowns.

This black frock certainly epitomizes the aesthetic. There is an elegance and grace about the dramatic dress, even with the slashes across the abs.

Its overall effect is striking, but it is the subtle details that left a lasting impression on me, such as the way the shape of the cut-outs mimicked that of the neckline.

Proving no detail was overlooked, she wrapped her ponytail in black fabric, mirroring the open detail on the stomach.

Ana De Armas In Ralph & Russo Couture – 2017 Latin Grammy Awards

Ana De Armas made a silver statement at the 2017 Latin Grammy Awards on Thursday (November 16) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Clad in Ralph & Russo Fall 2017 Couture, the Cuban actress exuded ethereal beauty. We mostly think of whimsical looks as being long and flowing, but the layers of tinsel-like fabric created a magical effect.

The addition of the silver bodice could have been too much, but its armor-like finish against the tufts of darker fabric left me awestruck.

The black belt and pointed-toe pumps tempered the dramatic dress wonderfully.

Are you charmed by this look?

2015 Latin Grammy Awards

2015 Latin Grammy Awards

The 2015 Latin Grammy Awards took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Thursday (November 19) in Las Vegas, Nevada. Here is a look at some of the attendees who caught my eye.

Zoe Saldana: As beautiful as Zoe looks in this Roland Mouret Spring 2016 LBD, it’s a bit of a snooze for the Latin Grammys or any musical event.

Roselyn Sanchez: The actress – and host of the event – dazzled in a fully beaded backless gown by Davidson Zanine which she styled with Le Vian jewels. Now this is a look fit for the Latin Grammys.

Patricia Zavala: The E! Latin American host was showcasing a lot of skin wearing a blush pink open-back gown from Michael Costello’s 2016 Paris Collection, but my only objection to this look are the shoes.

2014 Latin Grammy Awards

2014 Latin Grammy Awards

The 15th Annual Latin Grammy Awards took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Thursday (November 20) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Roselyn Sanchez: In her first of two looks, the ‘Devious Maids’ actress sparkled on the red carpet wearing a Dolce & Gabbana ultra-mini frock which she would’ve struggled to sit in.

Rocsi Diaz: The TV entertainment reporter was smouldering on the red carpet wearing an MT Costello Spring 2015 black gown with an intricate web-like lace bodice.

Cristal Marie: Showcasing her gorgeous figure, the singer wore a Badgley Mischka black and blue sequin gown effortlessly styled with a black clutch and silver jewels.
