Kate Bosworth In Brock Collection – 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards

Kate Bosworth was also in attendance at the 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday (June 5) in New York City.

With this luminous, lemony Brock Collection custom slip dress fully embroidered with beads in a floral-camouflage design, her look was a little bit of retro and a lot of radiance.

I love how she used the flash of her Edie Parker ‘Wolf Shard Lock’ gold clutch and metallic heels to further enhance the lustrous mood.

Chloe Grace Moretz, Sasha Lane, Hari Nef, and Rowan Blanchard In Coach 1941 – 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards

Chloe Grace Moretz, Sasha Lane, Hari Nef, and Rowan Blanchard made up the Coach 1941 contingent at the 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday (June 5) in New York City, with the young starlets each embracing a unique side of the collection.

Chloe Grace Moretz: Stripped of its puffy coat, Chloe’s Fall 2017 frock was certainly more season-appropriate if not a bit humdrum for the Fashion Awards evening.

Sasha Lane: I would have half-expected Sasha to keep the novelty bomber jacket atop her quirky plaid and floral ensemble in ’70s upholstery hues. But, she put on a contrasting, cross-body mini handbag instead.

Hari Nef: Also wearing a cross-body bag, its mini proportions did nothing to cover the nip slip and knickers seen through this sheer floral dress that seemed amateur at best.

Rowan Blanchard: While this Fall 2017 prairie dress had a distinct homespun vibe, it was easily the most successful of the four looks as Rowan wore it with ease and charm.

Mandy Moore, Ashley Benson & Ellie Kemper In Kate Spade New York – 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards

The design house of Kate Spade New York had a darling trio representing them, with Mandy Moore, Ashley Benson and Ellie Kemper all donning the label at the 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday (June 5).

Mandy Moore: Fierce, feminine, and vampy all merged together in this leopard-print look that had Mandy walking on the wilder side—yet still with an underlying girly spirit. She styled the dress with an Edie Parker ‘Fiona’ clutch and Nicholas Kirkwood ‘Maya Pearl’ platform heels alongside that dramatic dark-plum lip that was undeniably ready for fall.

Ashley Benson: Also in a Fall 2017 look, Ashley donned an embroidered floral frock that, while elegantly bohemian, was a rather heavy statement for the evening. A sleeker bun would have made more sense here than her beach-y blonde waves.

Ellie Kemper: The most summery of the trio, Ellie wore a blushing nude, silver-studded dress styled with complementary Kate Spade New York accessories. Here, I think Ellie could have let her hair down in loose waves.

Brit Marling In Sies Marjan – 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards

Brit Marling channeled her softer side for the 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday (June 5) in New York City.

Enveloped in the romantic drape of a dusty-rose, bi-level Sies Marjan Fall 2017 dress, she conveyed a diaphanous ease of form.

However, this is by no means an easy look to pull off, given the looser silhouette in partnership with the clunky, lug-sole platforms.

I can understand why she opted to wear the quirky shoe, though, as this is the night to be more sartorially experimental. At least it was rendered in the tonal pink shade and not the runway’s brown version.

That said, she pulled it all off quite gracefully.

Diane Kruger In Monse – 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards

From the minute she hit the blue-carpeted scene, Diane Kruger was very much colour-coordinated at the 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday (June 5) in New York City.

I was mesmerized by her Monse Fall 2017 strapless design, not only for its intense electric-cerulean hue but also for the sequined embellishment that looked like golden paint dripping down the dress.

Not only that, Diane’s styling upheld a sense of chic simplicity to further enhance the sublime power of the gown. Only Delfina Delettrez mismatched earrings were necessary to complete the look’s forward edge.

Were you as captivated by this statement as me?

2015 CFDA Fashion Awards Red Carpet Roundup

2015 CFDA Fashion Awards Red Carpet Roundup

An additional chic set of lovelies were among the constellation of style stars at the 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards, hosted at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center on Monday (June 1) in New York City.

Katie Holmes: I really wanted to love the actress’s one-of-a-kind Ralph Lauren Collection deep-green silk charmeuse evening dress accented with Ralph Lauren vintage jewels. Shame about the wrinkles in the dress and the long, barely-styled hair that hid the beautiful earrings.

Abigail Spencer: It was delightful to see such a bright, patterned Novis dress, where the bold colour continued with royal purple Malone Souliers Dawn Mules heels and a magenta lip. The end result was captivatingly fresh and charming, even if it appeared slightly less formal than some of the other entrances.

Gigi Hadid: This Michael Kors Resort 2016 glittery jumpsuit had a distinct Studio 54 vibe, but the model wore it so well, creating a chicly modern appeal with Michael Kors ‘Jacqueline’ sandals, a metallic Michael Kors clutch, and Atelier Swarovski jewels.
