Charli XCX In Stella McCartney – amfAR Hong Kong

Charli XCX is known for her close association with Vivienne Westwood, but that all changed for amfAR Hong Kong on Saturday (March 25).

And if it isn’t Westwood, it’s House of Holland; so her decision to go glam in Stella McCartney was a refreshing choice.

Combining a simple silhouette with a bold orange hue ensured maximum impact, so it’s such a shame the hair didn’t live up to the rest of her look.

Charlize Theron In Saint Laurent – amfAR Hong Kong

Following the ‘The Fate of the Furious’ press conference, Charlize Theron joined Naomi Campbell for the amfAR Hong Kong Gala on Saturday (March 25).

I was swept away by the majestic ambience of her Saint Laurent Spring 2017 gown embellished with sequins.

Shaped for a supremely close fit, I’m delighted to see a return of her sultry side as this look is oozing with plenty of sex appeal.

Not many were enamoured by her Louis Vuitton look, so how does this more glamorous offering fare?

Nicole Kidman In Marchesa – Swisse Wellness ‘Power Your Passion’ Event

Following her promo tour for ‘Big Little Lies’ and awards season, Nicole Kidman was back home for the Swisse Wellness ‘Power Your Passion’ event on Saturday (March 25) in Melbourne, Australia.

I’m applauding the overtly feminine silhouette and sculptural approach to Nicole’s Marchesa off-the shoulder cocktail dress featuring an ostrich feather trimmed bustier.

Worthy of Hollywood royalty, this velvet midi dress is the very essence of classic-meets-modern ladylike style.

Roger Vivier accessories including a ‘Boite de Nuit Jaipur’ clutch and ‘Manhattan Maharani’ sandals rounded out this inch perfect look.

Naomi Campbell In Ralph & Russo Couture – amfAR Hong Kong

Naomi Campbell attended the amfAR Hong Kong Gala on Saturday (March 25) looking every inch a supermodel.

It was rather apt that the queen of the catwalk grace the red carpet wearing a regal offering from Ralph & Russo’s Fall 2015 Couture collection.

I love the intricate detailing which tempers the sheerness and how this look ushers in a new (rare) glimpse at Naomi’s romantic side.

The pointy pumps are a bit jarring, but the look is perfectly topped off with signature sleek tresses and a Ralph & Russo Couture ‘Alina’ clutch.

Fan Bingbing In Louis Vuitton – ‘The Amazing Race China’ Press Conference

Fresh from her best actress win at the 11th annual Asian Film Awards, Fan Bingbing was back on the red carpet for ‘The Amazing Race China’ press conference yesterday (March 23).

Known as the queen of princess gowns, the actress does surprise us from time to time; and this would be one of those rare occasions.

Her Louis Vuitton Spring 2017 suit with oversized proportions was all business, yet I love how she added a pair of Tuleste pom pom earrings to lighten the mood.

The platform Giuseppe Zanotti sandals are of course expected, yet they coordinate well with her look.

You weren’t fans (no pun intended) of her Elie Saab Couture look, so how does this look fare?

Fan Bingbing In Elie Saab Couture – 11th Asian Film Awards

Fan Bingbing picked up the Best Actress award for ‘I Am Not Madame Bovary’ at the 11th Asian Film Awards on Tuesday (March 21) in Hong Kong, China.

I would’ve expected a princess gown for such an occasion, but she decided to go down a different route while still relying on Elie Saab.

Aside from the pleated front which creates a contemporary silhouette for this jumpsuit, I love how the dramatic train adds distinguishable definition to this piece.

Unfortunately Bingbing’s accessories didn’t work for me. A silver clutch to compliment the embroidered bodice and shoes without embellishment would’ve been preferred.

Paz Vega In Hannibal Laguna – 2017 Malaga Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Paz Vega attended the 20th Malaga Film Festival opening ceremony on Friday (March 17) in Spain.

The Spanish actress opted for a local designer, wearing a Hannibal Laguna Fall 2017 floral gown.

There is so much drama infused in this piece, so no doubt made a huge impact at this event, however, it feels a bit dated and frumpy for Paz.

I prefer her in more fashion forward, modern looks like the one she wore to the 2017 Goya Awards.
