Red Carpet Fashion Awards

This week Marion Cotillard was a guest on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson”.

She was there to promote her new movie “Inception”, which was released on Tuesday in the US and will be out on Friday here in the UK.

The banter between the two was hilarious. She seems really relaxed as Craig poke fun at her.

The French actress wore a beautiful black Vionnet Resort 2011 dress which has nude, fuchsia and white panels.

It’s one of her best look so far this promotional tour.

It may not have been so great on the red carpet, but it’s perfect for her TV appearance.

Best LBD Award
“Film Actress Of The Year award” went to ‘Avatar’ star Zoe Saldana at the 2010 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards.

She looked beautiful as ever wearing a black Vionnet Fall 2010 dress which appears to be shorter than on her model.

Her black silk and chantilly lace dress was paired with black YSL Trib Two’s.

I’m still not loving these heels despite the fact that the fabu Zoe is wearing them.

What I am loving are all the interesting details and asymmetry which is going on with her dress. It’s far from being any ordinary LBD.

Zoe completed her look with Solange Azagury-Partridge rings.

Italian theater and film actress Giovanna Mezzogiorno is the other female judge alongside Kate Beckinsale during Cannes Film Festival.

Over the next 2 weeks she will exclusively wear Vionnet.

At the judge photocall she wore Vionnet black silk jersey and midnight blue crêpe de chine dress, which was paired with gold trim black suede sandals.

For the “Robin Hood” premiere she wore a custom-made rose pink crêpe de chine dress, which she paired with a studded clear plastic clutch.

With the exclusion of Carey Mulligan’s custom BAFTA gown, Vionnet are not known for their gowns like Elie Saab for example, so it’ll be interesting to see how they dress Giovanna for the premiere’s.

The last time I featured Catherine Zeta Jones many of you were surprised at how she’s disappearing before our very eyes.

The actress was spotted on her way to “A Little Night Music Broadway Cast Recording” signing at the Walter Kerr Theatre in New York yesterday afternoon.

Looking every inch the superstar that she is, Catherine wore a Vionnet Resort 2010 dress.

Her teal dress was longer than the Vionnet bordeaux tunic presented, but it has the same draped back and cape sleeves.

The dress has an elasticated waistband but Catherine still opted to wear her dress with a black leather belt.

I’m confident you will agree she looks stunning here.

I’m I right?

Last night Saks Fifth Avenue held a cocktail reception for the French fashion house Vionnet who’ve had an amazing revival over the past few months.

The event was attended by Anna Wintour, many of New York’s socialites and actress Ginnifer Goodwin.

I’m blown away by Ginnifer.

She looks outstanding wearing at black velvet dress from Vionnet’s Fall 2010 collection.

The velvet makes it luxurious, whilst the cut-outs bring out her sexy side.

Goodwin’s look is completed with a pair of thigh-high ‘faux’ leather boots. If you look closely you can see that they have a small peep-toe.

The first real wow moment of the week, so Ginnifer bags herself a spot on the BDOTW poll.

Maggie Gyllenhaal is in London tonight for the premiere of her new movie “Nanny McPhee And The Big Bang”.

The last time we saw Maggie on the red carpet she dazzled us at the Oscars wearing a strong print.

This time she dazzle again even though her look was more subtle wearing a black Vionnet Pre-Fall 2010 dress.

Despite not being a lover of black dresses, this one sleeve dress is really interesting as the opposite side of the dress has a cream pleated panel.

I expected something wild and bright from Maggie, but I got chic, elegant and sophisticated.

BDOTW for me.

LOVE this look.
