Oscar actors Penelope Cruz and her husband, Javier Bardem attended the unveiling of Penelope’s star during the opening of the Walk of Fame in Madrid, Spain today.

Michelle Obama and Samantha Cameron met again today on the steps of 10 Downing Street in London, on Day 1 of the Obama’s state visit.

The two fashion savvy ladies both wore British based designers.

Mrs O opted to wear Roksanda Ilincic who she’s worn before.

On this occasion she wore a purple drape neck Roksanda Ilincic Pre-Fall 2011 dress with a Narciso Rodriguez blue coat. The look was accessorized with a black belt and black kitten heels.

Purple appears to be Mrs O’s signature colour.

She’s radiant in purple.

Samantha Cameron opted to wear Peter Pilotto.

The design duo are having a great day because Rose Byrne also wore a look from their Spring 2011 collection last night.

Samantha’s Peter Pilotto dress is the same shorten version Carey Mulligan wore to the Los Angeles Times “Young Hollywood” Roundtable last year.

Grey pumps (thank god they’re not black) completed her look.

A world away from all the glitz and high glamour at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival, Gwyneth Paltrow was attending the 2011 National Movie Awards at Wembley Arena in London tonight.

The blonde actress wore a very deep plunging Roksanda Ilincic Fall 2011 dress.

Let’s pray Kim Kardashian doesn’t take a shine to this dress.

Gwyneth’s black feathered dress was paired with yet other interesting pair of heels.

Her nude Christian Louboutin Lucifer Bow pumps are very welcome when so many would’ve paired this dress with black Tribtoo’s or Brian Atwood ‘Maniac’ pumps.

On a day of very impressive looks, Gwyneth still manages to shine through.

Michelle Monaghan attended a New York Screening of her new movie, “Source Code” last night with co-star Jake Gyllenhaal.

I really love her teal sleeveless Roksanda Ilincic Spring 2010 dress.

The asymmetric gathered skirt is very much Roksanda’s signature and provides an interesting detail on her dress.

Unfortunately, I’m having a problem with Michelle’s hair and make-up again.

The hair is a lot more smoothed out, but I’m still not fond of the bangs. The make-up is just too heavy for her pretty face. Less would be more in this case.

A black Jimmy Choo ‘Latoya’ clutch and Chrissie Morris ankle strap black sandals completed her look.

‘Mad Men’ star Elisabeth Moss has been starring alongside Keira Knightley in a revival of Lillian Hellman’s controversial classic “The Children’s Hour” in the West End of London.

She joined her fellow stage stars in the capital last night for the 2011 Olivier Awards which was held at the Theatre Royal.

Elisabeth wore a gold Roksanda Ilincic Spring 2011 dress.

Her taffeta gathered dress was paired with a matching clutch.

As much as I love this dress, Moss is in desperate need for a pop of colour as this look is feeling a tad washed out.

Pace Wu attended the Swarovski China Event recently.

The gorgeous star wore a two tone grey and pink Roksanda Ilincic Firestone silk-organza and basketweave dress from the Spring 2011 collection.

Her dress is stunning, but I’m sure you’re thinking the same as me…”why ruin the look with that necklace?”

Pace Wu was no doubt obligated to wear the necklace because she was showcasing the piece at this Swarovski, but therefore she shouldn’t have opted for this dress with such a stand-out sculptural detail.

Something had to give and unfortunately in this case it was the dress.
