Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Nicole Richie was up and about early this morning in New York City to promote her new television show, ‘Fashion Star’, on ‘VH1 Morning Buzz’.

Even at an ungodly hour, Nicole was still looking very fashionable pairing skinny jeans with a Proenza Schouler Spring 2012 sweater.

Her funky zebra-print sweater is not only a refreshing take on the usual leopard print; it is also on trend with its fresh minty pastel colour.

Never one to slack on footwear, the designer added tan House of Harlow 1960 ‘Callan’ pumps to her look.

Chic shades, House of Harlow 1960 rings and a chain-accented House of Harlow 1960 ‘Riley’ shoulder bag provided the finishing touches.

After disappointing on the red carpet at the 2012 Oscars, Shailene Woodley did a complete 180 at the 2012 Vanity Fair Oscar party.

The young actress wore a Proenza Schouler Spring 2012 floral embroidered dress.

Her open-back, belt free, dress was teamed with lime green Diane von Furstenberg pumps.

Just imagine how amazing this would’ve been as a gown for the main event.

This was missed opportunity.

Was this a downgrade or upgrade from the Valentino gown?

Dakota Fanning took in three shows during New York Fashion Week.

First up was Marc Jacobs on Monday night, then Rodarte on Valentine’s Day and Proenza Schouler on Wednesday.

At Rodarte she donned a colourful ensemble from the designer’s Spring 2012 collection.

She teamed gold pants with a bi-colour wrap top with peeked shoulders and embellished peep-toes.

On Friday, Brooklyn Decker attended GQ, Lacoste and Patron Tequila’s party to celebrate The Super Bowl at The Stutz Building in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The model/actress wore a Proenza Schouler Spring 2011 dress.

I much prefer her black version of this dress with the yellow-and-white ruffled trims, which is a lined commercial version of the dress which took to the runway.

Whilst Brooklyn’s style could be considered quite preppy, she breaks that perception by opting for this slick dress with an urban twist.

A grey shoulder bag and Karl woven patent-leather wedge sandals completed her look.

It’s has been a busy weekend, yet we still have the Art of Elysium Gala tonight and the Golden Globe Awards tomorrow.

Elizabeth Olsen attended the 37th Annual Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards last night wearing a Proenza Schouler Spring 2012 dress.

Her black front tie long sleeve dress with a contrasting floral printed skirt is a bold choice from the usually cautious star.

Whilst I like her choice, that keyhole details is a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen, so I’m slightly turned off by that.

Her shoe choice is a bit blah, but I do love her Edie Parker ‘Edie’ navy pearlescent clutch with amethyst mica stripes.

A side swept messy braid completed her look.

First Emilio Pucci, now this Proenza Schouler dress.

Do you like Elizabeth’s more fashion forward choices?

Chloe Moretz attended the 2012 People’s Choice Awards held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live this evening, where she was nominated for ‘Favorite Movie Star Under 25.’

The teen actress looked adorable once again wearing a Proenza Schouler Pre-Fall 2010 black and green tweed dress.

She became a trendsetter by kick-starting the PVC Spring 2012 footwear trend which Shoerazzi introduced us to last year as the teen wore Dolce & Gabbana Mary Jane heels with a PVC trim.

Neutral make-up and a simple low bun finish this girly look.
