2017 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The stylish ladies were out in full force at the 2017 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards on Monday (November 6) in Brooklyn, New York.

Sara Sampaio: The Portuguese model charmed in a J Mendel Resort 2018 mini. The short shape and blush colour were enlivened with feathered appliqués. The dusty neutral tones and simple styling allowed the texture to be appreciated without the bird connotations.

Karlie Kloss:
Striking a shimmering statement, the model donned a Christian Dior frock. The long sleeves and ankle-length hemline had a prim feel, but the geometric pattern and shimmering details added much allure.

Lauren Santo Domingo: Also in a feathered confection, the Moda Operandi cofounder was clad in Calvin Klein Fall 2017. Similar to Sara, the textured look had a sophisticated finish thanks to the blush-toned feathers but hers were accented with red and yellow. Given the lightness of the dress, I would have preferred a softer shoe without the black details. You may remember that Julianne Moore wore this same dress to the Met Gala.

Samara Weaving In Prabal Gurung – ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’ LA Premiere

Aussie star Samara Weaving was in attendance at the ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’ LA premiere on Friday (November 3).

This Prabal Gurung Resort 2018 look sees the slip dress take on a more glamorous meaning with the metallic pieces spliced throughout.

However, her beachy waves ensured that there was still a relaxed effortlessness to the look.

Issa Rae In Prabal Gurung – Planned Parenthood Advocacy Project

Issa Rae was at the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Project LA County’s Politics, Sex, & Cocktails on Saturday (November 4) in LA.

From some angles, you might think this Prabal Gurung Spring 2018 exploded floral print dress to be quite modest.

Then, that slit-to-there splice comes into view.

I like how this look came together on her, as she balanced the flowy femininity and the sultrier sophistication, styling the look with sandals, John Hardy jewels and a braided hairstyle.

Jiang Yiyan In Prabal Gurung – ‘Seventy Seven Days’ Beijing Premiere

Chinese actress Jiang Yiyan attended the Beijing premiere for ‘Seventy Seven Days’ on Tuesday (October 31).

I was swept away by how the delicate layered ruffles accentuate this Prabal Gurung Resort 2018 gown, taking the modern cut and slinky silhouette into fairytale territory.

This photograph almost looks too good to be real, such is the level of perfection, the intensity of the pink hue and gracefulness of Jiang.

I’m stunned beyond belief.

Tracee Ellis Ross In Prabal Gurung – CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Show

Tracee Ellis Ross attended the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund show at the Chateau Marmont on Wednesday (October 25) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress’ love for bold colour was on display with her blue Prabal Gurung Spring 2018 off-the-shoulder look styled with red Louboutins and a red ribbon in her hair.

This look oozes modern luxury, while showcasing Tracee’s indelible style and astute sense of glamour.

Gigi Hadid In Prabal Gurung – ‘All I See Is You’ Premiere

Gigi Hadid lit up the night at the ‘All I See Is You’ premiere in New York on Monday (October 16), joining Blake Lively.

The supermodel stunned in a Prabal Gurung Spring 2018 dress. The canary yellow frock had details abound with a dropped waist ruffle, fringing, an uneven skirt and an ab cutout.

With so many unique features in the piece, I was pleased Gigi stuck with coordinating accessories which included Lorraine Schwartz 18 karat gold and yellow diamond floral earrings and rings plus Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle Follies’ pumps.

The cherry red lipstick added the right amount of contrast and brought out the burgundy shade in the bag.

Nina Dobrev In Prabal Gurung – ELLE’s 24th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration

Nina Dobrev looked oh-so pretty on the red carpet for ELLE’s 24th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration on Monday (October 16) in Beverly Hills, California.

Wearing a look from Prabal Gurung’s Resort 2018 collection, I was tempted to say her style has improved, but that would be a terrible disservice to her and her stylist as Nina has always been sartorially prolific, so I would prefer to say I love how her new mature style has grown.

This gown is perfect example of that with its cascading frills for a modern take on femininity.

Switching up the blunt bob for softer waves, the look was styled with Alexis Bittar jewelry and a blue satin Jimmy Choo ‘Cloud’ clutch.
