Jessica Pare In Prabal Gurung – ‘Mad Men’ Season 6 Premiere

Jessica Pare hit the red carpet at the DGA Theater in LA last night for the ‘Mad Men’ Season 6 premiere with co-stars January Jones and Christina Hendricks.

She opted for a burst of colour, wearing a head-to-toe look from the Prabal Gurung Pre-Fall 2013 collection.

Her bright-pink-and-turquoise three-quarter-sleeve lily-print satin sheath was styled with a black leather belt with neon-pink piping and Prabal Gurung for Casadei black mesh ankle-strap pumps with a white toecap.

The dress is perfect for her lean figure. I had pictured Allison Williams in this dress.

The only issue with this look is the severe centre-parted ponytail. But judging from her jewels and smoky eyes, I guess the styling was purposely edgy.

Would you have preferred it had her styling been softer, or does the styling perfectly fit the designer’s sexy, fashion-forward aesthetic?

Allison Williams In Prabal Gurung – Boston Common Magazine Cover Party

Girl-of-the-moment Allison Williams celebrated her Boston Common Magazine spring cover at The Langham in Boston, Massachusetts on Thursday.

The ‘Girls’ actress wore a Prabal Gurung Pre-Fall 2013 look which had a spring-like feel.

Her white-and-amethyst top and pencil skirt, with the designer’s signature lily print, was styled with a military-esqe black patent-leather belt and Schutz ‘Bambi’ PVC heels with a gold toe-cap and a blue-suede heel.

I was surprised to learn that some of you think that Allison’s style is quite boring and safe, considering the vast range of looks she has given us since ‘Girls’ hit the big time.

A look from Prabal Gurung can never be classed as safe or boring, so does this look change your view?

Zoe Saldana In Prabal Gurung For Target – Sushi Dan

It looks like it was actually Zoe Saldana who was the first to get her hands on the Prabal Gurung for Target collection, as she was spotted out headed to lunch with a friend at Sushi Dan in LA yesterday afternoon.

Well, it was only right considering it was Zoe who introduced us to the talented designer in the first place.

The actress wore a colourful Prabal Gurung for Target sweater ($29.99), which showcases the designer’s love for digital prints, styled with black AG Adriano Goldschmied jeans.

Geek-chic glasses, a Dolce & Gabbana tote and ankle boots completed her lunchtime look.

I love how this inexpensive top injects a burst of colour into her ensemble.

The Prabal Gurung for Target collection which hits all Target stores and on Target.com on February 10.

Prabal Gurung For Target Launch Event

Prabal Gurung hosted an event in New York City last night to celebrate his Prabal Gurung for Target Launch event.

Thankfully, the stars have aligned for me to be in New York City for the official launch of this collection which hits all Target stores and on Target.com on February 10.

Showing his romantic side, the Prabal Gurung for Target collection was inspired by a tender love story, offering women’s apparel and accessories including bags, minaudières, sandals, pumps, and jewelry suitable for all occasions, from the initial crush, to the first kiss, to everlasting love.

Prices range from $19.99 to $199.99 for apparel and $12.99 to $39.99 for accessories and shoes.

Rashida Jones: The actress wore a striking ruffled blue blouse with a black collar and placket, which will retail at $34.99, with black J Brand ‘Carey Zip Moto’ capri jeans and Alexander Wang ‘Liya’ ankle strap pumps.

Elizabeth Olsen: The actress revealed a short-sleeved blue-and-coral dress with a black bow-accented waistband, which will retail at just $39.99, under her black coat.

January Jones In Prabal Gurung – 2013 SAG Awards

‘Mad Men’ actress January Jones used the 2013 SAG Awards to try out a fashion-forward statement that was far from the ’60s style of her show.

While she went for the popular black-and-white trend, she took a big risk with her Prabal Gurung Pre-Fall 2013 look styled with two Lorraine  Schwartz  platinum  and  diamond bracelets. 

The shorter cocktail-style dress was transformed from its runway incarnation with the addition of a longer skirt to follow the formality of the Screen Actors Guild occasion.

The structured gown fits her well, but the napkin-like neckline of the bodice may be an acquired taste.

Her beauty look likewise followed the same bold path, with her pompadour-style hair and bright orange-red lip.

Deepika Padukone In Prabal Gurung – 58th Idea Filmfare Awards

Regarded as one of the best-dressed celebrities in India, Deepika Padukone showcased her impeccable style on the red carpet at the 58th Idea Filmfare Awards in Andheri, Mumbai on Sunday evening.
The actress slipped into a sexy Prabal Gurung Fall 2012 gown.

Her plunging gown, with sheer panels and a central slit, was worn with the leather belt as worn by the model on the runway.

Deepika’s styling was very simple, with Christian Louboutin pumps and Jade Jagger rings.

With her hair styled into a slicked-back ponytail, she rounded off her smouldering look with bold red lips and a black manicure.

You may remember that Zoe Saldana wore this same dress to the CFDA Awards when escorting the designer to the event last year.
