Lena Dunham In Marni & Allison Williams In Oscar de la Renta – The Today Show

Lena Dunham and Allison Williams made a guest appearance on NBC’s the ‘Today’ show yesterday morning, to promote the new season of ‘Girls’.

The co-stars appeared to have called ahead, as they both wore the colour of the moment: red.

Lena wore a Marni Fall 2012 wool crepe dress with puff sleeves which she styled with Rupert Sanderson ‘Irene’ black strappy suede sandals, recently worn several times by Jessica Chastain.

Allison’s donned an Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2013 red sleeveless dress with a draped detail on the neckline, which was presented as a checked dress when it took to the runway recently.

Her dress is gorgeous, but her coral floral pumps are divine.

Jamie Wolf earrings and glossy wavy tresses complete her look.

Jessica Chastain In Oscar de la Renta – 2012 New York Film Critics Circle Awards

Following her guest appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman, Jessica Chastain attended both the ‘Mama’ New York Screening, held at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema, and the 2012 New York Film Critics Circle Awards at the Crimson in New York City.

On this occasion she wore an Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2013 look – our second look at this new season.

I’m not surprised that all eyes are on her, as Jessica looked divinely elegant in her black lace frock with cap-sleeves.

I think the look would’ve been fine without the diamond-encrusted collar necklace but, after looking at the close up, I’m guessing it was added to smooth out the illusion yoke.

Opting for sleek straight tresses for this event, Jessica completed her look with pink lips and Christian Louboutin peep-toes.

Which look do you prefer? The Berardi or this Oscar dress?

Pace Wu In Oscar de la Renta – Johnnie Walker House Beijing

Pace Wu joined Chen Shu at the opening of the ‘Johnnie Walker House Beijing’ in China earlier this week.

She wore an emerald-green Oscar de la Renta Resort 2013 gown.

This structured faille gown with a contoured bodice, ruffled peplum and trumpet skirt is both beautiful and dramatic.

I love that she added bright-red heels to this look, and subtle jewels as opposed to scene-stealing statement pieces.

You may remember that this frock has already graced the red carpet, as Allison Williams wore it to the 2012 Emmy Awards back in September.

Elle Fanning In Oscar de la Renta – British Independent Film Awards 2012

The British Independent Film Awards took place at Old Billingsgate Market in London yesterday evening and were attended by Britain’s talented up-and-coming stars, plus a cute teen American actress called Elle Fanning.

I love Elle, because you never quite know what’s coming next: she can go from indie to edgy to preppy to princess-like with equal aplomb.

Last night, it was princess-like, wearing an Oscar de la Renta Spring 2013 gown.

The light-pink silk organza embroidered gown with a fitted bodice and bell-shaped skirt does an amazing job of not washing her out nor overwhelming her petite figure.

Keeping the styling super-simple and ensuring all eyes were on her fabulous dress, she opted for no makeup, nude Oscar de la Renta pumps and a slicked-back bun.

Taylor Swift In Oscar de la Renta – 2012 Ripple Of Hope Gala

The 2012 Ripple Of Hope Gala was held at the New York Marriott Marquis in New York City yesterday evening, with the main attraction being Taylor Swift who performed for the star-studded charity event, which was also attended by Dianna Agron.

Taylor wore a lovely Oscar de la Renta gold tulle lame embroidered dress from the designer’s Resort 2013 collection.

The country singer, who is giving us a variety of lip shades these days instead of her signature red, accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz earrings, an Ofira bracelet and ring, plus suede Jimmy Choo ‘Cupcake’ peep-toes with a gold platform.

I’m sure some of you will say that this dress is very cutesy, but I feel like styling gives the overall look a mature feel.

Once again, side-swept tumbling locks completed her look.
