Kate Beckinsale In Oscar de la Renta & Elie Saab Couture - Qingdao Oriental Movie Metropolis Ceremony

Kate Beckinsale joined Nicole Kidman for the launch ceremony of the Qingdao Oriental Movie Metropolis in Qingdao, China earlier today.

Her first look was an ultra chic two-piece Oscar de la Renta Spring 2014 ivory dress with a black jersey waist, which was pepped up with red-hot Brian Atwood ‘Cassandra’ pumps. I just love the retro styling with the chic bouffant accented with a black headband.

Upping the style stakes for the second look; the British actress wore a beautiful nude Elie Saab Couture gown from the Fall 2012 collection featuring a high-neckline, open back and gold appliqués which she styled with nude Brian Atwood ‘Wagner’ peep-toes (shockingly, as she hardly ever wears peep-toes), dazzling jewels and a high ponytail.

This may surprise you, but I adore the first look. Mostly because it’s such a different look for her, but also the red pumps sell this look to me.

It’s great to see her back on the red carpet.

Allison Williams In Oscar de la Renta - BAFTA LA TV Tea 2013

Allison Williams attended the BAFTA LA TV Tea Party presented by BBC America and Audi held at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, California yesterday evening.

The actress’ Oscar de la Renta Spring 2014 pretty floral frock couldn’t be more appropriate for a British Tea Party.

Jacob & Co. jewels and metallic fuchsia-pink Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps added some pizazz to the look, but the most shocking thing here is the braid.

Long has she modelled her hair in the same simple straight and slightly teased style (a la Duchess of Cambridge) so this is a big step for her.

Jessica Pare In Oscar de la Renta - Variety & Women In Film Pre-Emmy Event

Jessica Pare attended three pre-Emmy parties this weekend. But, unlike Cat Deeley, she opted to wear the same dress.

The ‘Mad Men’ actress attended the Vanity Fair and Maybelline toast to ‘Mad Men’ party, the Variety & Women in Film Pre-Emmy party, and Entertainment Weekly’s Pre-Emmy party wearing an Oscar de la Renta Resort 2014 frock.

Her black strapless silk organza and fishnet floral sequin dress was styled with a quiffed ponytail, silver jewels, black pointy pumps and a cabochon embellished black clutch.

I know many of you are falling for her effortless style, so how does this look fare?

Ali Larter In Oscar de la Renta - Entertainment Weekly Pre-Emmy Party

Ali Larter attended the 2013 Entertainment Weekly Pre-Emmy Party held at Fig & Olive Melrose Place in West Hollywood, California on Friday evening.

The actress wore a black Chantilly lace Oscar de la Renta Resort 2014 long sleeve dress featuring chiffon and grosgrain banded appliqués which she simply styled with black sandals.

With her hair pulled back into a simple ponytail, smouldering kohl-rimmed eyes added a vampy vibe to her look.

NYFW Spring 2014 Red Carpet Wish List

New York Fashion Week came to a close yesterday evening, so here is my final roundup of looks I wish to see on the red carpet.

Calvin Klein: We all know Rooney Mara is going to pick one of the black looks from this collection, so I hope it is this one with its unique halter detail, contrasting fabrics and interesting fringe detailing.

J. Mendel: I would love to see this gown on someone with Mila Kunis’ dark colouring. The coral lace gown would look gorgeous against her skin tone and naturally smouldering eyes.
