Michael Kors Jet Set Experience

Following the Michael Kors flagship store opening at Jing An Kerry Centre on Thursday, Michael Kors invited even more celebs to enjoy the Michael Kors Jet Set Experience on Friday (May 9) in Shanghai, China.

Freida Pinto: The Indian actress wore an ice-blue Pre-Fall 2014 crystal-embroidered dress styled with a silver Michael Kors python clutch and a black pair of pumps I wish were also silver.

Hilary Swank: No surprises to see the designer’s favourite actress in attendance. She wore a beautiful red lace Pre-Fall 2014 dress with black trims complemented by black accessories.

Camilla Belle: The actress opted for a more tonal look, wearing a chambray lace dress accessorized with a belt and pumps in blue snakeskin to add an edge to her dainty look. A pretty pink lip shade, slicked-back ‘do and Bulgari earrings from the ‘Diva’ collection and rings from the ‘Serpenti’ collection completed her look.

Michael Kors Kerry Centre flagship store opening

In order to celebrate the Michael Kors Kerry Centre flagship store opening on Thursday (May 8) in Shanghai, China, the designer invited a host of stars and his favourite girl, Miranda Kerr, to toast the opening.

Miranda Kerr: The model kept it simple and chic, wearing a Michael Kors strapless polka-dot dress from the Spring 2014 collection styled with Christian Louboutin shoes and a selection of jewels from Graziela Gems, EFFY Jewelry and Dana Rebecca Designs.

Isabeli Fontana: Her grass-green and white Spring 2014 bandeau dress was perfectly styled with suntan Michael Kors Pre-Fall 2014 accessories which made her skin tone glow.

Chiling Lin: This may be the third outing for this Michael Kors nutmeg pleated dress, following Heidi Klum and Iman, yet it still hasn’t lost its allure. Hence the threepeat. The look was styled with a nutmeg ‘Miranda’ clutch and matching platform sandals from the Spring 2014 collection.

It’s the time you’ve all been waiting for, Model @ The Met, where we take a look at all the leggy beauties who took to the red carpet for the 2014 Met Gala in New York City on Monday (May 5).

Liu Wen: There is only one thing 100% guaranteed on Met Gala night: a Zac Posen gown will shut down the red carpet. Liu Wen worked this green strapless ballgown to perfection. Styled with David Yurman jewels and a black clutch, the next few words won’t come as a surprise: best-dressed nominee.

Georgia May Jagger: The British model wore a custom Mugler black and white lined slinky gown with a plunging neckline and satin trim styled with Sergio Rossi asymmetrical
‘Dali’ pumps. This gown is a first for the fashion house’s new creative director David Koma.

Zoe Saldana In Michael Kors - 2014 Met Gala

Zoe Saldana was on the arm of designer Michael Kors at the 2014 Met Gala, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City this evening (May 5).

Naturally, the actress was in Michael Kors, a custom confection consisting of a simple black cashmere halter bodysuit and, the main attraction, a pouf-y, black floral lace and optic-white taffeta sculpted skirt.

The sartorial sculpture continues again here, as can be expected with this year’s Met exhibit of styles by iconic American designer, Charles James.

A black python clutch, a few bangles and rather minimal makeup and loosely fixed locks completed the effect.

At first, I thought the look demanded more—as in a brighter lip or more daring hair. But now that I reflect on it, the more relaxed styling made this bustling look more current, without a hint of try-hard.

Jessica Pare

Jessica Paré stunned at the red carpet for the 2014 Met Gala on Monday (May 5) in New York City.

As usual looking tres chic, the ‘Mad Men’ beauty wore a Michael Kors custom strapless black gown with white floral threadwork and sequin embroidery. The dress was structured at the top and flowed effortlessly at the bottom.

She paired it with black sandals (not pictured), a black clutch, sparkling bracelets and gorgeous, statement earrings.

To round up the look, Pare wore her hair up in a simple, yet chic bun with rosy cheeks and bright pink lips.

I loved the fact that she chose to skip the necklace and let the dress and her gorgeous neckline do the work. I think Don Draper would approve, do you?
