2015 Glamour Woman of the Year Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Glamour Woman of The Year Awards

There were many more lovely ladies besides Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Kate Hudson and Kerry Washington who attended the 2015 Glamour Woman of the Year Awards at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday (June 2) in London, England.

Gemma Chan: The British actress served up visual splendour wearing an Mary Katrantzou’s intricately printed ‘Cassandra’ dress. I’m glad she kept the spirit of this look alive with a moss-green clutch.

Gillian Anderson: There was a distinct lack of drama at this event, so up stepped Gillian Anderson wearing a nude caped gown by Australian couturier Paolo Sebastian. Some might find this a touch dated, but I’m too busy diverting my eyes away from the upper mid section.

Louise Redknapp: The British presenter usually finds herself at near the top of the my best dressed list, but that wasn’t to be the case on this occasion. While I loved the gorgeous cobalt-blue hue and her breakaway from the expected, this Proenza Schouler basket weave fringe dress fails to flatter, plus her pumps were really dull. The only plus side was the complementary Bottega Veneta clutch.

Nina Dobrev In Lela Rose – 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards

Nina Dobrev In Lela Rose - 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards

Nina Dobrev attended the 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center on Monday (June 1) in New York City, with designer Lela Rose.

Like Juliette Lewis, Nina opted for a dramatic feathered ball skirt for her red carpet look.

For that reason these looks will be compared, but to me they couldn’t be more different. Juliette’s look was more playful, whereas Nina commands your attention is a totally different way.

The look oozes quiet sophistication with the styling so very much on point with H. Stern earrings and a silver Lee Savage clutch.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus In Lela Rose – The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Julia Louis-Dreyfus In Lela Rose - The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Julia Louis-Dreyfus paid a visit to ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ at Rockefeller Center on Wednesday (April 8) in New York City, to promote the latest season of ‘Veep’

Taking an eye-catching approach to introduce spring colours, I love Julia’s Lela Rose Spring 2015 dress for its refreshing citron yellow tone and sculpting a ladylike appearance with a feminine lace overlay.

Immaculately clean-cut, this fitted piece is forever graceful, especially when styled with patent leather Louboutins.

Kaley Cuoco In Lela Rose – 2015 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards

Kaley Cuoco In Lela Rose - 2015 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards
Kaley Cuoco was also in the mix at the 2015 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards at The Forum on Saturday (March 28) in Inglewood, California.

The actress wore a Lela Rose Spring 2015 black-and-white design consisting of a mesh, floral-embroidered crop top and an oversized polka-dot sheer swing skirt.

The eye-catching look walked the line between ladylike chic and contemporary boldness, with its fanciful mixed prints fitting right into the fun of the event.

A slicked-down bob and pink lip gloss were the finishing touches.

After staring at this ensemble for awhile, I think the overly exposed midriff is what’s throwing off the effect. Her top just needs a little tug down. I have a feeling this could be a love-it or hate-it moment—which side do you land on?

Swarovski clutch completed the look.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Gugu Mbatha-Raw In Lela Rose & Nicole Kidman In Valentino Couture

BDOTW 9 feb

While you voted for the subtle elegance of the gorgeous Gugu Mbatha-Raw in Lela Rose, I was swept away by the statuesque beauty that is Nicole Kidman, who ruled the Berlin Film Festival red carpet in Valentino Couture.

When it came to the fellas, it was Eddie Redmayne in Ralph Lauren for you, while I picked Benedict Cumberbatch for his super sharp classic offering.

I was tempted to go for Eddie, but I feel like the very reason I fell in love with his style – love for colour and different types of fabrications – has given way to a sea of black and blue this awards season.
