Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Menswear ThursdayThe guys continued the week with another round of sartorial statements, this time each inspired by the colour blue.

Jon Hamm: Jon joined the bevy of ‘Mad Men’ beauties at the Season 7 premiere of the show, held at ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood, California on Wednesday (April 2). The handsome actor riffed on the current navy-suit trend with his jacket and pants that were shot through with a hint of a subtle teal coloration. A midnight-blue tie, white-button-down shirt and polished blue Christian Louboutin ‘Education’ flats completed his polished look that would have no doubt made Don Draper proud.

Sam Claflin: Along with Olivia Cooke, Sam was also at the the world premiere of ‘The Quiet Ones’ on Tuesday (April 1) at the Odeon West End in London, England. The British actor wore a British label, looking cute and sharp in a Burberry tailoring charcoal-grey suit, paired with a baby-blue shirt and a navy-and-teal striped tie.

Orlando Bloom: The actor was honoured on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Wednesday (April 2) in California. Looking every bit the hunky star that he is, he worked a relaxed, nonchalant stance in a cerulean-blue Lanvin suit. Going tieless, he topped off the ensemble with an unbuttoned white shirt, a few necklaces and Christian Louboutin ‘Trepeter’ brown flat loafers.

Jennifer Lopez In Lanvin - 'American Idol' Season 13 Top 9 to 8 Live Elimination Show

Jennifer Lopez was spotted outside FOX studios ahead of the ‘American Idol’ season 13: Top 9 to 8 live elimination show on Thursday (March 27) in Hollywood, California.

Going from high street to high end, the judge donned a sexy LRD from Lanvin’s Resort 2014 collection.

This Lanvin strapless red dress made from wetsuit-inspired neoprene features a structured corset bodice, a sweetheart neckline, a bow detail under the bust, and waist-defining bands which accentuate JLO’s figure, giving her an alluring silhouette that is sexy yet not revealing.

Opting to go light on the bling, nude pumps and a half-up, half-down hairstyle completed her look.

Jennifer Connelly In Lanvin - 'Noah' Berlin PremiereJennifer Connelly was also at the ‘Noah’ Berlin premiere, alongside Emma Watson, held on Thursday (March 13) at Zoo Palast in Germany.

Already stunning us with her Givenchy Couture outing at the film’s Mexico City premiere, the actress continued to captivate in a custom Lanvin black panné velvet column gown with hook-and-eye neckline.

What the dress lacked in embellishment and sparkle, it made up for in its sleek silhouette, with a tastefully rendered front slit and triangle cutout at the small of her back.

On this occasion, I’m glad she opted for minimal jewels and black Christian Louboutin ‘Leonor Fini’ sandals instead of pumps.

With her glossy locks coaxed into a tucked-under ’do and the brush of a pretty berry-pink lip acting as her best accessories, Jennifer truly captured a glamorous old Hollywood mood—with a modern twist.

Meryl Streep In Lanvin - Oscars 2014

The acting goddess that is Meryl Streep made her mark on the red carpet at the 2014 Oscars held at the Hollywood & Highland Center on Sunday (March 2) in Hollywood, California.

The 18-time nominee wore an elegant Lanvin gown that dipped slightly off the shoulder and suited her quirky personal style perfectly.

You never know what you’re going to get from Meryl on the red carpet, but this look is lovely and age appropriate and the belt and bracelets add a nice touch of style and visual appeal.

Of course, it would have been great to see Meryl make a bit more effort with her hair and makeup, but her simplistic take on beauty is part of what make Meryl, Meryl.

Lupita Nyong'o In Lanvin - 'Non-Stop' LA Premiere

Lupita Nyong’o joined Michelle Dockery and Julianne Moore on the red carpet for the LA premiere of ‘Non-Stop’ held at the Regency Village Theatre on Monday (February 24) in Westwood, California.

Opting for a similar coppery hue to her NAACP Image Awards gown, the actress selected Lanvin on this occasion.

Her Spring 2014 shiny lamé plisse strapless dress looked slightly different to the dress which we saw on the runway, as the actress opted wear the dress with the black zipper showing to given the look a whole new dimension.

Keeping the high-shine, metallic finish theme going, she styled the look with Sergio Rossi pumps, a black Rauwolf clutch, a Solange Azagury-Partridge ring and Janis Savitt earrings.

You’ll be glad to see that she switched up the hairstyle from Saturday, giving us yet another sharp, fresh ‘do, with her makeup being the only thing that could possibly out-shine her frock.

It was a resounding nay on her Givenchy gown, so how does this look fare?
