Celebrities Love…Lanvin ‘Sugar’ Bag

Celebrities Love The Lanvin 'Sugar' Bag

Starlets have been lavishing special attention on the Lanvin ‘Sugar’ bag, which hails from designer Alber Elbaz’s Pre-Fall 2014 collection.

It boasts a sweet name, but the purse is far from overly saccharine. The ideal fusion of luxe styling and functional design, the leather shoulder bag has a soft quilted satin finish with a chain-link strap for just the right dash of tough edge.

Its versatility is more than evident among the trendsetters who swing the ‘Sugar’ over their shoulders.

Zoe Saldana attended Cannes Film Festival’s ‘Relativity at Ten’ luncheon with the bottle-green version, adding a sophisticated finish to her vibrant Etro printed dress. Jessica Alba likewise opted for the same coloration, infusing the feminine floral-mesh Tanya Taylor dress with her handbag.

Proving that the ‘Sugar’ can even sweeten a trip to the gym, Diane Kruger matched her red purse to her running shoes, while Sarah Jessica Parker likewise showed that the bottle-green bag looks just as good for a casual, dressed-down stroll around town.

You can buy the Lanvin ‘Sugar’Bag in black from Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman.

Menswear Weekend Roundup

Menswear Weekend Roundup

The past few days were packed with a range of menswear looks, heavy on the formal tux angle with a few more colourful options thrown in for good measure. Here, a look at the weekend’s handsome set of guys.

Zachary Quinto: A presenter at the 68th annual Tony Awards, the actor dressed for the occasion in a Thom Sweeney three-piece, black wool tuxedo, paired with a white cotton dress shirt and black silk bow tie. David Yurman black onyx shirt studs pulled the look together with an added note of polish.

Djimon Hounsou: Bringing a breath of fresh blue to the red carpet of the ‘How To Train Your Dragon 2’ Los Angeles premiere, Djimon wore his beautifully hued Calvin Klein Collections suit with equally well-styled accessories, including an incredible pair of navy Christian Louboutin loafers, Martin Katz cufflinks, and a Montblanc timepiece.

Daniel Radcliffe
: In attendance at the Tony Awards supporting his play, ‘The Cripple of Inishmaan,’ Daniel was dapper in an Ermenegildo Zegna Made-to-Measure one-button, satin peak-lapel tuxedo in midnight navy—a great departure from the traditional black colour. A matching bow tie, white dress shirt, and KG Kurt Geiger ‘Anton’ shoes finished the look.

Amanda Seyfried In Lanvin – Shiseido ‘Cle de Peau Beaute’ Press Conference

Amanda Seyfried In Lanvin - Shiseido 'Cle de Peau Beaute' Press Conference

Amanda Seyfried was at the ‘Clé de Peau Beauté’ press conference, held today (June 2) in Tokyo, Japan.

The actress and Clé de Peau Beauté muse went for high drama in a Lanvin deep purple, frosted-lace dress featuring a shimmering gold lamé underlay and a wide, black satin belt.

Here, the lacy dress was the main attraction, as it should have been. A bronze-metallic eye and dark rose lip, alongside a casually swept-back updo, were impactful without being overdone.

Nude Rupert Sanderson ‘Yves’ stilettos really did nearly disappear from view, which was quite alright, as a more elaborate shoe may have sent this look over the edge.

Amira Casar In Lanvin - ‘The Search’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Amira Casar attended ‘The Search’ Premiere at the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival this evening (May 21) in Cannes, France.

The French actress wore a Lanvin Fall 2014 leather pleated dress featuring gold button detail which she paired with a military-style belt, Lanvin ankle-cuff black sandals and a grey snakeskin clutch.

When Emma Stone wore a similar dress from this collection some of you likened it to a trash bag.

Does Amira’s pleated version lessen that opinion?

The actress wore a Lanvin Resort 2014 tiered taffeta gown, which embodies the brand’s signature grandeur.

While the gown is more bridal than red carpet, there is no denying how lovely she looked, with the best accessory being her smile.

You may remember that Audrey Tautou wore the same dress in a short black version to this same festival last year.
