At
Lanvin’s London boutique opening party, I am glad these two ladies opted for the most vibrant pieces.
Yasmin le Bon wore a three-tone blue one-shouldered Lanvin Spring 2009 dress.
She thankfully kept her accessories to a minimum, because this dress has a beautiful bouquet of floral embellishments that speak for themselves.
I love pink embellishments on the skirt, as they really pop against the navy blue. Her nude satin pumps completed the look.
Model Anouck Lepère wore a stunning nude
Lanvin Spring 2009 strapless dress, which had glittering leopard print.
I like that Anouck wore her dress with a belt, to give her dress more shape, and her red double t-bar pumps were the perfect finishing touch.

Tonight there will be an opening party for the newest addition on London’s Mount Street, as
Lanvin first London boutique opens its doors.
Balenciaga, Marc Jacobs and Christian Louboutin have all opened stores on the same street in the past six months, so it’s in great company.
The new Lanvin store will have five floors of Parisian chic wrapped-up in a Grade 2 listed building, adding to Mount Street’s allure.
If you can’t get yourself to Mount Street, you can purchase Lanvin online.

Julia Roberts is nothing but consistent. Her persistent to wear nothing but black, has got to the point that if she does wear another colour, I think I will faint from the shock.
Here she is AGAIN wearing black. This time she is wearing a Lanvin Resort 2009 black silk crepe trapeze cross-front evening gown.
I do like this gown, and I do think she made the right choice to wear this gown without the runway belt. I would have looked too contrived on Julia.

Lanvin’s Fall 2009 was created for the chic modern woman, who likes a lot of black.
I would kill to wear every piece, but after the colourful Spring 2009 collection, I was yearning for more colour from this collection. Their was one red 40s inspired suit, with a peplum waist - peplums appeared on many pieces. A few neutrals, steel blues, and grey features, but they were very few and far between.
Fur was featured heavily, with fur trims on coats, and fur stoles wrapped around models.
I loved the dresses that had ruffles cascading down the hip, and the strong silhouettes of most of the pieces. This collection will be a hit, regardless of the colour palette.
Oversize necklaces, feathered hair bands and long black leather gloves, were the main accessories for this collection.

What a delicious sight for sore eyes.
Charlize Theron has been M.I.A. on a red carpet most of this year, and then she springs up in Paris at The Burning Plain premiere, picking up were she last left off - looking fabulous.
This gold metallic Lanvin Pre-Fall 2009 dress is not for everyone. The knot would look complicated on some. Not many could pull it off, but of course Charlize does with relative ease, and legs to-die-for.
Her legs are elongated with a leather pair of Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2009 pumps, with steel heels.
I love the runway necklace, but not the gloves, and I am glad Charlize didn’t feel the need to accessorize this look, as it speaks for itself.

On Saturday, before the Oscars, Lucy Liu attended the
Film Independent Spirit Awards.
Lucy was more than pretty in pink, she was outstanding beautiful wearing a Lanvin strapless ruched dress.
What made this look so perfect for me was the clear belt, as the dress has more definition with it.
I am very thankful she didn’t wear a black belt, and ruin the whole look.

Whilst on the campaign trail for her hit movie,
He’s Just Not That Into You, Drew Barrymore wowed me with her red carpet and TV appearances looks.
Her Lanvin strapless dress, was beautiful on her. I loved the nude satin sash on the neckline and silhouette the dress gave her. She really looked like she had fun on the red carpet that night with her co-stars.

I fell in love with Drew Barrymore when she wore this dress on
Jay Leno’s show earlier this month. So much so, she got my vote for
Best Dressed that week.
The Giambattista Valli sequined lace sheath dress is the epitome of chic, and her overall look impressed me, and I loved her elegant updo.
