Georgina Chapman For Garrard Launch, London

Standing quite a vision in regal blue, Georgina Chapman posed at the launch of her new jewellery collection for Garrard.

Once again we see the designer rocking her own brand, however the founder of Marchesa does make a rather impressive clothes horse for this exotic design.

A mass of sequins and beads, this short sparkly number certainly gains attention, with bordering feathers softening the tough structure. Opting for simple black platforms to complement her look, Georgina keeps the rest basic too, with natural hair and just a touch of a smouldering eye on show.

Princess Beatrice attended the event wearing a Notte by Marchesa Fall 2009 piece.

Very much in-keeping with this season’s favourite trend, Beatrice knows that anything that glitters or gleams goes, and looks fantastic covered in chunky gold sequins.

The little jacket and tights that Beatrice has chosen smarten this look, showing that even though she is a Princess, Beatrice knows grown-up glamour.

“The Box” New York Premiere

Despite this RM by Roland Mouret body-con dress fitting Cameron Diaz’s form perfectly, it’s disappointing to see the normally animated and lively actress in this more muted style.

Her personality has previously been heightened by what she has worn, however here, Cameron loses something of her kinetic celebrity persona.

By dressing down in tights and adding a tame up ‘do, it further dampens things. This dress doesn’t do her justice.

“Valentino: The Last Emperor”, New York

In keeping with recent ghoulish-festivities, Daphne Guiness stepped out a few nights ago in a dark ensemble, mixing textures and shapes creatively.

The fashion-forward mum-of-three stuck with her usual flamboyant style, combining tight leather leggings, a satin bodice and a velvet cropped jacket.

Stepping out in Nina Ricci’s lavish Fall 2009 boot, Daphne doesn’t disappoint as an example of someone unafraid to experiment with fashion, fully confident in her stride.

Socialite Lauren Remington Platt was spotted wearing this gorgeous Julien Macdonald dress recently, a garment taken from the designer’s Spring 2010 collection.

This same dress was placed on our Wish List page not long ago for starlet Cheryl Cole.

The candy-colours fused with figure-hugging fabric create a piece that is sweet and girly but with a flirtatious, sexy edge.

CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Finalists Dinner, LA

Stunning Diane Kruger looks effortlessly chic in this asymmetric Chloe Fall 2009 jumpsuit.

Belted, to cinch her waist and showing just a peep of skin, the actress needn’t do anything else to this fabulous piece.

She kept her hair and make-up basic to achieve a flawless example of great style.

Before I get to fashion, Rachel Adedeji made a total fool of herself on Saturday night as she morphed into Stacey Solomon. I was so embarrassed for her and annoyed she wasn’t in the bottom two.

Back to fashion.

It was week 3 and Cheryl Cole wore her 3rd Atelier Versace look in a row.

This time she opted for a stunning Grecian style asymmetrical Atelier Versace Spring 2009 gown with a thigh-high split, which we’ve seen before on the red carpet.

The gown was stunning, but I wasn’t happy with the hair.

I understand that her stylist was going for a goddess look, but the part that dangled loosely just bothered me all night, plus the silver headpiece was a bit much with her big hair.

Had she simply pulled her hair back and let the gown do all the talking, I would’ve loved this look.

Once again I struggled to find Dannii Minogue’s gown, but I just had to feature her because she was DROP-DEAD-GORGEOUS on Saturday night.

She wore a breath-taking antique silver embellished gown with exquisite Boucheron jewels and YSL heels whilst sporting old Hollywood marcel waves.

Definitely up for BDOTW.

On Sunday’s result show Cheryl wore a silver paillette Julien Macdonald Spring 2010 mini dress with nude panels and bold shoulders.

The silver paillette’s gave the dress a fish-scale type of look, which she paired with Rupert Sanderson Plato sling back peep-toes.

It was a bold choice for Cheryl, but it wasn’t my favourite look on her. It worked better on the runway.

I really hope she wears Look 32 as that was my favourite from Macdonald’s Spring 2010 collection.

Dannii blew me away again wearing a nude dress with a peplum on one hip, with a dripping effect of embellished details on her dress.

I have a feeling this one is by her favourite designer J’Aton Couture.

I hate pitting them against each other, but it was Dannii’s week.

Update: Dannii confirmed via Twitter that both of her looks are by J’Aton Couture.

I am a huge fan of the X Factor, but it has become more interesting to watch because Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole has joined the show as one of the judges.

I love to see what she wears each week. Last week she wore an Dolce & Gabbana Pre-Fall 2008 leopard print ensemble, but this week she wore a Julien Macdonald Spring 2009 strapless chocolate jumpsuit.

The pocketed jumpsuit had nude panels on the front and at the sides, which made the jumpsuit really sexy.

Cheryl added a gold accessorizes including a gold waist belt and a gold necklace.

Here is last weeks Dolce & Gabbana look.
