Fendi Spring 2012

Fendi’s Spring 2012 presentation was full of playful, ladylike pieces within this classic yet modern collection.

I loved the stripes and the colourful embroidery which featured on many of the looks.

Models swayed down the runway wearing mid-length dresses, suede trench coats and boyish blazers with cut-away cold shoulders.

We also saw lightweight leather jackets, samurai shoulders, tailored blazers, fur vests, cool blue shirts, loose-fitted pants and hooded jackets.

Towards the end of the presentation, Karl showcased sheer black dresses with twirl designs.

These dresses would be perfect for a balmy evening whilst on vacation, or a daring diva on the red carpet.

Key accessories included multi-coloured strappy sandals, sunglasses, fur-trimmed clutches and perforated leather shoulder bags which also double up as totes.

The models’ tresses were teased into Betty Draper-esque bouffants.

Front Row: Bianca Brandolini d’Adda and Delfina Delettrez Fendi

Favourites: Red striped jacket and skirt and cold-shoulder striped dress

Who I See Wearing This Collection: Bianca Brandolini d’Adda, Delfina Delettrez Fendi, Minka Kelly, Rihanna, Miranda Kerr, Taylor Swift, Roxane Mesquida, Giovanna Battaglia, Karolina Kurkova and Rose Byrne

Sidewalk Style: Miranda Kerr’s Fendi Belt, Prada Tote & Jimmy Choo Heels

Last week Miranda Kerr was spotted spending the afternoon having lunch at Guillaume at Bennelong which is situated in the Sydney Opera House in Australia, following her turn on the runway for the David Jones.

Much like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Miranda has impeccable street-style.

The Victoria’s Secret model paired a simple orange top with a navy pencil skirt, but it was her accessories that did all the talking.

She added a Fendi Spring 2011 tri-colour belt with a gold logo to her ensemble.

Jimmy Choo ‘Valley’ suede platform sandals and a Prada textured-leather tote complete her chic business-like look.

Celebrities Love…Fendi Spring 2011 Sandals

Now summer is here celebrities are showing off their pedicures via these multicoloured Fendi Spring 2011 sandals.

The sandals have a grosgrain trim and a double-strap ankle closure with signature buckles in contrasting hues.

Giovanna Battaglia was first spotted wearing her Fendi sandals during Milan Fashion Week whilst attending the Fendi Fall 2011 presentation. As it was February she added tights to her look.

Last week she wore the shoes again in New York sans tights.

On Friday night the same Fendi sandals added even more colour to Solange Knowles beaming look which included an orange Lanvin asymmetrical top and bubblegum pink lips.

Karolina Kurkova is the only one to opt for a different colour combination for her head-to-toe Fendi look.

The Fendi multicoloured sandals are the perfect alternative to nude and black peep-toes, which many of you have said that you’re grown increasing tired of seeing on the red carpet.

You can purchase these Fendi heels in several colourways from farfetch.com and Bluefly.com.

Karolina Kurkova In Fendi – Ischia Global Film and Music Festival

Karolina Kurkova is still in Ischia, Italy enjoying the Ischia Global Film and Music Festival.

On this occasion the supermodel opted to wear a Fendi Spring 2011 dress for an awards ceremony at the event.

She didn’t steer too far from the runway styling of her purple keyhole detail dress, but opted to mix things up with a different colours.

Her olive cummerbund was a two-tone compared to the tri-colour version on the runway.

Karolina opted to complement her cummerbund with Fendi olive faille colourblock ankle strap sandals over the orange version on the runway.

As Karolina is on vacation, she continues to keep her hair and make-up relatively simple by wearing her hair back in a bun and opting for bold red lips.

School Run Style: Yummy Mummies

Despite having so much to catch up on from the weekend, I just had to share this trio of yummy mummies on the school run this morning in London and New York.

Elle MacPherson: My current girl crush of the moment has the supermodel/yummy mummy crown. She looked gorgeous teaming a simple black cardi with red hot Isabel Marant cropped leather pants and Isabel Marant bow front kitten heels which were both from the Fall 2010 collection.

Claudia Schiffer: The German model may not have been going for all out glamour, but she oozed an effortless off-duty style whilst dropping her kids off to school. She becomes the latest celeb to fall in love with the Gucci ‘Snaffle Bit’ Bag behind, Heidi Klum, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kylie Minogue and Florence Welch. Claudia is also following in the very trendy footsteps of Gwyneth Paltrow who has been seen frequently wearing these nude Sergio Rossi ‘Maori’ wedge booties.

Sarah Jessica Parker: Was spotted taking young James to school this morning wearing an array of colours. She sported a biscuit coloured oversized sweater which she paired with Rag & Bone skinny jeans. Stone ballet flats, a fuchsia pink scarf and a Fendi ‘Silvana’ top handle bag completed her colourful look.

They all have oversized shades in common.

Vanessa Hudgens In Fendi – The Art Of Elysium 3rd Annual Paradis

Vanessa Hudgens attended The Art Of Elysium 3rd Annual Paradis event during the 2011 Cannes Film Festival last night.

The young actress opted for a Fendi asymmetrical gown.

Her gown was lightly embellished with a contrasting mint green ribbon on the shoulder and scalloped details on the hemline.

Vanessa completed her look with a selection of silver rings and a white flower in her loose updo.

This gown is the longer version of the same dress Emma Watson wore in her Marie Claire US December 2010 editorial.
